My deer hunting philosophy is simple. "If its Brown it's Down" I don't ever pass up on what the Good Lord puts in front of me! Never drop a deer off for someone else to process and always share with anyone who can go get me another deer tag!! LOL!

That’s last buck spotted your arm move to adjust the camera. I think spooky just has a really sensitive nose. Bother times he seemed to have alerted right as he got her you.

Our weather here in MN on Nov. 8th was what u had there on Nov. 9th. It was in the 70's on the 6th & 7th when the gun season opened up. A wide mainframe 8 was the buck I was getting video of in October. Unfortunately a fool blew up my #1 area & I had to setup in my secondary area. Just b4 things were about to move a bear in November walked straight into the bedding area of the buck W/NW of my location. 10 minutes later I could hear the buck raking his antlers but he was turning where the bear hit his area. Within 5 minutes the buck was in an open area SW of me. A guy 300 yards from me spotted it & fired 2 shots @ him. Too long of shots with a shotgun. But he was using a rifle in a shotgun zone! That buck didn't show up on video until night-time of December 3rd. I ended the night of Nov. 8th near 🏡 with video of a yearling 3 point that is an albino with a pink nose & eyes. Video makes awful thin soup.
Can't wait to see how u end the season in Iowa.

Gotta let them go to grow. Next year as a 4yr old that buck is going to be bigger... If he can make it to 5 imagine how big he's going to be. That buck would be dead in any other state for sure! Good call letting him go. Great footage of him though.
I think November 7 is the best day to be in the woods. Ironically thats my wife’s birthday. We Celebrate after the rut. Love my wife!

I kind of want to ask a similar question as “ASH”, do you like the v3 27 or the v3x 29 because I’m a little stuck on these bows.
A couple bucks there that I wouldn't have passed up, but I have a feeling you get a few more opportunities to see those big ones than I do.

Man you are covered up in deer. Great job scouting and setting up. I was chasing a monster buck years ago. In that time I passed on so many big buck, and like you, I kept thinking I must be an idiot to pass on such nice deer. I never did get the 200” deer I was after. I haven’t killed a deer since (15 years ago). My point is, passing nice shooters can affect your will, to let the arrow fly later on. Thank God, my arrow was released this year. Yeah. Unfortunately it didn’t find its mark, but it did fly. 👍

@@kevinbarton1144 I don’t know who your friend is in Michigan, but all of us hunter have the decision to shoot what’s in front of us, or not. It should not be a bragging thing. I’ve had critics bark at me for high standards. I could careless, I hunt because it’s a blast.

Spooky need to be taken out I had a doe this year that did the same thing and could hear a mouse fart in the wind and would freak out those kind of deer are to smart and should be put down before they blow your stand
