Lindi and Russ, I added a link for a forstner bit extension so you can bore right through your wood projects without having to flip your piece over. I got mine at Ace but I wasn't sure if you guys had one of those in your area or not so this is from Amazon. I linked a 10" to get uou started on your search. You know your bit size and can pick one accordingly. I was so excited to be able to sit back and finally have the time to catch up on that I've missed. P.S. I'm so happy that you didn't use salt to "help" keep your boards from slipping during glue up. Salt doesn't disolve all the way in some aread and so the glue is left with holes and it also changes the composition of the glue making the glued joints weak. I really hate those woodworking tips and tricks because a lot of newer woodworkers are using those methods not knowing that a lot of them are gimicks. Nothing should be put on the glue unless your filling a small hole with sawdust and glue. Anyway, you guys always make my day! Getting video 3 done now. Once I have 5 I'll get them all uploaded and the channel will finally be active! Fulton 10 inch Long Forstner Bit Extension for Adding Over 8" of Drilling Depth to Your Forstner Bit Ideal for Wood Turners Furniture Carpentry and Construction (3/8 inch Collet) a.co/d/cfDPqdv
This is great - will have to add to the "need for the shop" tool list! Thanks so much for watching and for the great tips! Good luck on getting you next video up!
I had been looking for ways to repurpose scrap wood lying around in my garage, and the video provided a plethora of creative ideas. From simple wall art to functional furniture pieces, the projects were both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
The brain and the brawn lol. Turned out beautifully. Love scrap wood projects. I have an unusual request, something for a new baby, I love making gifts for people and of course a pregnant friend lol. I've made the rainbow bead abacus before and would love to see your take on it. Or anything for that matter. If baby is not the vibe then organization and/or more functional decor. Thank you for your great ideas and making me laugh.
I really enjoyed watching this vid! The DIY home decor projects were creative and easy to follow, perfect for someone like me who's not very experienced with woodworking.
Love these projects...especially the cost of them!.....super use of scrap wood and very unique towel racks! Way to go Lindi and Russ!!
Thanks so much! We love a good DIY, especially on a budget!
I love the jokes, it wouldn't be a video from you guys without them! Great job!
Hahahaha. I’ll never edit them all out 🤣🤣

Glad you found it helpful!
Some nice candlesticks out of scrap please Russ
Ohhhhh! Lindi has done a thrift version of this before! Maybe we can come up with another idea soon too :)
Lovely projects. Wonderful results. Such talent.
Thank you so much!
Thanks you two, for adding chuckles to my day😂 The projects turned out well! I have a nice big scrap wood pile, if you need more!
Our pleasure! ☺️
I love scrap wood projects though would love them to require basic tools and that could be replicated by the average DIYer please! Happy Easter! 🐰
Those are usually the ones Lindi does! 😂 Russ has quite a skill set and it’s nice for him to show off some of his skills and tools sometimes too! ❤️

I’d love to arch more scrap wood projects. Our pile is growing too.
This is on a "want to try list" - even have a steamer to try bending some wood 🤞
