Thanks! Key points I recommend are taping the dash where you use a pry tool and checking all cable lengths from the GROM to the head unit to determine the best location for the GROM. How has this been since install? I went a different route in mine but looked real hard at the Vlite and the Vline 2. How is the resolution on the screen? Any bugs with this system? I ended up doing the Grom BT and a Carpuride screen on top of my dash. I dont like how it looks but it functions well.
Greetings. For me it has been great. I only wanted carplay, so I prefer the simplicity of the VLite over the full VLine. CD quality audio (the factory unit on my Gen 5 Nav sees the Grom as a CD Changer) and the resolution is good.The screen resolution looks clear without any ghosting or artifacts. It has completed a few firmware updates that are optional downloads and those have been great. I am planning to do a follow-up video as well.
