Saber deserve better end with shirou
Then watch the rest of fate.
Saber was cool until she became Rin’s Servant
The one thing I didn't like about fate ubw is that Saber seemed so weak. She struggled or lost almost every fight she took part in. For the supposed "Strongest Class" she was too weaj. That's what made fate UBW not the best it could be in my eyes.
Ubw is the weakest route for her, I agree. Though she isn't much better is Heaven's Feel until after she's Saber Alter
To be fair.She literally is running on fumes of power.
Shirou could barely show her power with the amount of mana he has.
Shirou has about 270
Not to mention she had to sleep and not have her armor on just to save power.
Battle with no damage. Is around 10 units.
Shirou regains about 8 per day.
Amount to maintain her body 6 units.
Amount spent on the first day of battle 250.
End result weak battle power.
Shirou simply doesn’t have the amount of mana needed nor the recovery time for it.
I also felt bad they ruined my girl like that 😔
Aside from the "Shirou is a bad battery" issue, her opponents were paragons of strength and skill like Hercules and Cu Chulainn, not random mooks.
To be fair, if I was Shirou, and made aware of my deficiencies as a master, I wouldn't go looking for fights. Best move is to have Saber recover as much mana as possible, so she can be effective when she needs to be. That being said, on the other side, you have Actual Hercules, Irish Hercules, Immortal bug, Medusa, "Sasaki", Literal Gilgamesh, Medea, and Archer. Of the bunch, with Shirou as master, there's only 3 of them I'd be comfortable taking on, with preparation and rest. One of those is a bit of a wildcard because magic Archer shenanigans. Best move is to make an alliance with Medusa and maybe Medea against the rest. Only reason Medea is a maybe is she is the Witch of Betrayal. Saber's passive resistance to magic makes her a good matchup against Medea. Let Hercules and Cu hash their issues out-the nature of Gae Bolg makes it rough for Hercules. This is getting wordy, so I'm going to stop now.
