Thank you for your craziness. All the nicknames (the love shack, the bon jovi special, announcing all the Frontier liveries) is appreciated. Your knowledge of aviation is amazing.
Another Great show here in Tampa, but you knock it out of the ball park in SFO. Most definitely look forward to when you go back. My friend finally knows what it means when he saw the buckets open up. It's sorta scary at times with him. As the lights are on, but there's nobody home. LOL. Great Spotting once again Steven.
That "Area 51" Aircraft is an old Atlas Cargo plane now owned by Andromeda Leasing LLC. Besides, All Area-51 "Janet" ( Just Another Non-Existent Terminal ) jets have a thin red stripe on them.
Pretty-close. It's one of the Amazon-dry-leased-from-Andromeda Prime Air 767s. Just like the other 18 of them, except that this one and N1399A were never painted in the livery, and remain all-white. It's not really an old-Atlas-cargo-plane, because it was purchased by Andromeda (an AAWW subsidiary) already-converted from Euroatlantic, and was painted white and put into service for Prime Air, operated by Atlas. 17 of the Andromeda-leased aircraft are operated by Atlas, and two are operated by ATI (after having been pulled from Atlas by Amazon and reassigned). I think the Captain knows that it's a Prime Air aircraft, and was just having fun with us.
Greeting C'tpn Steve. Sure do enjoy the enthusiasm and at time the 'off the cuff ' descriptions and comments. Its all about having fun. Keep it up. Another Steve hailing from 100 miles north of the frozen tundra MSP. 10 miles east of BRD. Minus 17 below last night and I'm in shorts and t-shirt. You now have another subscriber .....
Whether we are tough or crazy is always in doubt 🙄. Cold temps continue for the next week or so. Saturday forecast is minus 25 with a high temp of 5 below. Come on up Steve and bring the Russian judges with. You'll get lots of 10s from them. Density altitude will most likely be below sea level.
Hi Captain. Steve , belated Merry Christmas 🎄 to you and all the aviation people who got us all to and from our destinations and had to put up with some unruly discussing passengers . OMG !! “ HAPPY NEW YEAR “ 🎊 be safe .
Skipper, those 75-200's Northern Pacific acquired are all former American 75's all within the 25 - 17 year old range, basically they are purchasing the cream of the crop of American's retired 75 fleet.
I don't know if anyone noticed it but that Area 51 airliner seemed to be just a little tail heavy. I noticed it seemed a little light on the front wheel and seemed to be rocking a little too much front to back
😄Great recovery on UAL1705, totally honest gotta love it!!! Goodness did Envoy float, almost out of the touchdown zone....wow. I say if the pax is in the lav leave them there sitting on the pot and hopefully it's an older plane with the blue water so when they rotate their arse comes out blue.🤣 Come on UAL maintenance, match the radome paint....geez! Another outstanding job.
Have you ever watched flying with big ern, he's a pilot with SWA & is awesome to watch explains & shows everthing in the cockpit, alot I don't understand but is so awesome, I believe the boeings can almost fly themselves with everything punched in, blows my mind.
Don't understand the cancellations issue because it seems that the variant, if that is the true reason, seems to only strike on key holiday weekends. I just don't buy the excuse that people can't come to work because they are sick given my previous observation.
Hi Petros. I’m with you how is it some airlines had so few cancellations. Maybe some airlines over scheduled vs what their staffing levels could handle.
You'll notice - that Southwest has not cancelled flights. Other companies has cancelled thousands of flights, but Southwest has not. -which tells you something about the false reporting of the virus variables.
Hal that’s an awesome point. I had actually brought that up with a family member. Seems odd how SW can keep going while others are very short of crews. Safe to say SW doesn’t have people just sitting around so somethings fishy
Captain Steve, I have been an amateur plane spotter for over 50 years, but I struggle to differentiate between the 737-800 and 900 series...do you, or any of your highly intelligent viewers, have any suggestions on how to distinguish between the two?
The 700 has one emergency exit door over the wing, the 800 and 900 each have two. And because the 900 is the longest of them all, it has an additional emergency exit just behind the wing on each side. Or do as I do often look at Flightradar24 have fun 🤩
From the looks of the video I watched that day, if memory serves me, some Delta some SWA, but for the most part, UAL, but that's OK, we all have our own likes.❤❤👋
I wonder how steven thinks of the KFLL woman who was rude about getting drunk on board and not waiting until they reached Nashville before deciding to leave the plane?
keep filming that white 76 and some people are gonna show up at your car in black suits and sunglasses and request you turn over all your memory cards or turn you into alien potato chips. LOL!
Fantastic video as always captain Steven big like from Dominican republic 🇩🇴

Thanks and good we won 🙌

Another great one Capt. Steven! Thank you!
Capt. the new airline from Alaska is "Northern Pacific Airways", with 12 rocket ships-200 on order.
I saw the CEO he said basically the 757 was the only aircraft available that fit their needs

The planes holding in delay all have APU’s, so they are probably using bleed air to keep the cabin cool.

I am with you, could watch those 757s all day. BTW I did warn Boeing about using my name on their upgraded 737s. Name never very lucky for me. :))
Happy New Year Captain Steve!!!!
Hi Joe. Happy New Year 🎊
Good food
Saw “halted” and had to check out the video to see what’s up!! Nice to see blue sky. Crummy weather here in the CLE - again/still. 😬
Basically 80 everyday this week. Cold from coming Monday high only 60 low frigid 40
Columbus has been rainy and dark all week. I miss the sun!
Air Canada Charter was most likely Montreal as they played the Lightning last night (Tuesday)
You got the plane I was on. Jet Blue Flight 1534 according to the Air Traffic Controller. Lol
Happy new year captain Steve

Great video Captain, I’ll be back in February, I’ll come looking for ya.
Hi Jeffrey. I depart in two weeks for 3 months not back at TPA until late March. I’ll be filming SFO and OGG 👍

That would be Northern Pacific IIRC
