And then foreign arab governments, having no legal right to that land, illegally occupied it for 19 years before Israel took it back in a defensive war for it's very existence. And if Israel gives it up in the current political climate, they are likely to be invaded like 10/7 but many times worse. Israel is doing the only thing thing it really can in a situation where its neighbors are trying to commit genocide against them.
