so it can't be underwater while it has a rating of 30m deep. that's just stupid.

No, the watch can't be submerged in water (I mentioned that in video)! It can withstand water droplets and quick handwashing (splash/rain resistant) as the manufacturer states, WR 30m. In the video, I did intensive waterproof tests just to push the Synoke 9619 watch to max stress levels.

I go swimming with this watch. So far no problems. Amazing for the price.
