- What do you guys think about my thoughts on my outro? Not exactly sure what is missing but I'm still not vibing with Ushi's team like I would have thought compared to other teams we have gone up against 🤔 Despite that I'm really surprised on how fast they flew through sets 3 and now 4 🏐🔥
My first time reaction to ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR sport anime of all time HAIKYUU!! I’ve never cheered for a sport ever in my life yet Haikyuu!! was able to pull that out of me 🏐🔥 Follow me as I continue to discover the hype of a sport anime and immerse myself in this thrilling story of players striving for greatness. Here is my first time reaction to Haikyuu!! Season 3 Episode 5.

What Kento (the setter) was saying about standing out the least has to do a little with the sentiment that a good setter gives his hitters good sets that are easy to hit and make them look better, therefore making himself shine less as they take the spotlight. I personally also think he wants to avoid standing out as much as possible so Tsukki can't read him ;)
And in regards to you feeling a little unentertained entertained with Shiritorizawas playstyle is their lack of flair. Their motto is "Simple and Pure Strength" and their playstyle reflects that. Their plays are neat and effective, but there isn't a lot of pizazz to their plays. That's why Karasuno is such a stark contrast to Shiritorizawa.
You will absolutely adore S4 tho if that's the case😁
Yup, to add on that Shiritorizawa's team is 'calm and collected'. Everything is calculated but it may not seem that way. Future episodes will dive further into background and have some payoffs for awesome plays too. The build up is definitely worth it.
Also absolutely agree about S4.
You're not wrong that S3 is different from S1 and S2. In the previous seasons, we had a lot of emotions and character development, like Kageyama, Yachi, Tsukki, and even Yamaguchi. However, S3 is only focusing on the match against Shiratorizawa, so we pretty much just get a lot of hype from the match itself. But fear not, S4 will get back to what you want, and it's even better than S2. Also, don't forget to watch the OVAs "Land vs. Sky" and "The Path of the Ball" after S3 and before starting S4. They are about Tokyo's qualifiers for the Spring Nationals.
No matter what anyone says Hinata really outdid himself in this match, the amount of stamina he uses just to be the best decoy enough to get one point for total 5 sets is incredible. Sure he lacks in some basic fundamentals but whatever he is good at no one can do it better than him.
i think what Shirabu meant is that he wants to be a setter that can just give any toss to the spiker and it's on them to score. not to command the game like a setter like Oikawa or Kageyama or even Semi (the third year setter at Shiratorizawa, grey hair, #3) do! which is also why Semi was replaced and Shirabu was put in instead, he shares the coach philosophy even if Semi is the stronger player

Teams arent really allowed to cheer or taunt between the net. You can get a warning for not turning away from the net while cheering I'm pretty sure. If the players are friends and its clearly friendly they can talk to each other. Thats what ive noticed in the VNL at least
