The worst thing is that all Germans outside Baden-Württemberg think that only Baden and Swabians live in Baden-Württemberg. But the Württembergers are completely forgotten today. The enmity between Swabians and Württembergers lasted well into the 20th century. Three counties should actually be shown here: Baden, Württemberg and Swabia.

Very nice, however i have some corrections on the flag for Württemberg. You see, the Black-Red bicolor was only adopted after 1817 by Wihelm I. Before that, the flag that has most evidence of usage as a "national" flag is a tricolor, Yellow-Black-Red from around 1803 to 1816. Some may argue that the flag was a Black-Yellow bicolor before 1817, being connected to the royal colors. However, there is little to no evidence of it being used (at least after 1803) in written or drawn form. The striped Black-Red one is a gigantic error, as it was, for some reason, put on wikipedia as the electorate flag, even though the only proof of it ever existing was a painting of a river vessel from 1839...
Still, the history and usage of the flag of Württemberg is still on construction so this isnt the final say, as there is always more info to consider/discover...

@@Ghreinos What you obviously can do is to write pathetically vulgar comments. The vulgarity is probably intended to hide the fact that you have no logical and good counterarguments.

This is absolute nonsense, filled with hostility and disrespect. The German states were not constantly at war with each other, and "Heiliges Römisches Reich" is the German translation of "Sacrum Imperium Romanum", which of course means "Holy Roman Empire", not "realm. The nation state is a relatively recent invention. Germany became one at about the same time as Italy. Most nation states of today are younger.

Terrible map. It would be MUCH better if they would show a shadow of current Germany for reference. 👎
