I'm not suggesting we help every Tom, Dick or Harry out there just because they're not where they want to be. I'm all about strengthening the country while fostering incentives for those to work their way to success (or failure) all while staying true to our core values and providing a safety net for the select few, in this case veterans and children.

    Since no one has commented on this part, while Panama has increased prices another big thing is China has influence down there. They control 2 out of 5 ports the front and end. Almost all of our trade goes through that canal. If they shut it down we are in huge trouble.

    I lived in Europe for 19 years. America has been judged, cursed , complained about etc. I’ve watched for years the condemnation of America always being involved in other countries business.
    You know what ? I’m soooooo happy American is backing out, getting out of everywhere where it’s been taken advantage of. I completely support of America not being used and abused . Let’s see how the world will feel when America does focus on itself.

      US foreign policy for last 70-80 years, find a poor country with valuable resources, depose current leader and instal a tyrant/dictator then 2 to 3 Presidents later, invade said country. I think the rest of Us would get on pretty well without the US interfering/causing issues for the rest of us.
      Oh and btw it was the Obamas NSA and CIA who funded and led the Ukraine revolt in 2012 that led to the current war over there and it was also the US who led the way (along with Britain) on making china what it is today.

    Look, these are the two only options... Either one, shipping companies continue to pay a fee for using this country's canal, or two, you can take the canal at a cost of a lot of American lives, that's totally disregarding the amount of enemy lives that will be taken..... Either way, the world is going to look at the United States in a whole new light and it's not going to be a good one.... What if the rest of the world started throwing sanctions on the US for invading another country? What if everybody just stopped trading with the US?

    • @mvasquez1990123
      @mvasquez1990123 21 день назад +1

      Have you felt recently that you're maybe not the main character?
      You forget our history in the US. We began as a nation that no one other than France gave a crap about.
      I'm more curious how the world would do without our music, film, and content. Do you think you're that important that we would even notice your disdain? We import cheap goods from cheap nations. If you don't like us change the channel and see if we care

    • @coreymoore2719
      @coreymoore2719 18 дней назад

      @mvasquez1990123 yeah you started as a nation nobody other than friends gave a crap about, and then through international cooperation, trade and building allies your country grew into a great superpower.... To think that you could get there without the rest of the world being nice to you is pure American arrogance.... A pitiful desert country with barely any economy of their own kicked your ass, yet it still didn't dampen your arrogance at all, it's a disease and it is turning your country into a disease.... You guys are right in line to become the next Russia or Nazi Germany. You touch another country's soil and we're all putting sanctions on you... We can all survive without s*** made in the US, can the US survive on its own? is it self-sufficient?... We can raise your gas prices just by shutting off the flow of oil and we can just as easily sell it to somebody else.

    • @mvasquez1990123
      @mvasquez1990123 21 день назад +3

      Let's balance the books here. You have absolutely no right as a citizen of the UK to ever complain about reparations. Whatever your nation paid is undoubtedly not covering all of the sins of your empire and you know it.
      Meanwhile, the US bankrolled the rebuilding of Europe through the Marshall Plan. We continue to subsidize European nations through NATO ensuring you all can have your social safety nets since you don't need to spend what you SHOULD be spending on protecting yourself.
      Not to mention how difficult it is to sell American cars outside the US, yet BMW and other foreign vehicles dominate here.
      You guys are so entitled to the world we gave you after the last world war.

    You get that it's theirs... but you don't mind if Trump does everything in his power to retake it? Because other forces have made it more expensive for the US to use the canal?
    Sorry to say this man, but you should probably do some soulsearching. You usually have a very thoughtful, humane approach even though you are pro-Trump. And compared to other pro-Trump youtubers that has been refreshing. Though this video in particular shows a change.
    From an outside perspective, this video illustrates a decline in your morality. And I would be remiss if I didn't call it out.
    Don't steal, don't murder, don't annex part of a country because they can't regulate international economy.

    I unsubscribed yesterday because I was disappointed that you even had politics on your channel but responses from so many uninformed people is frightening. The French started the canal went bankrupt. US under Teddy Roosevelt leased the land understand we did not own it. Roosevelt bullied Columbia and broke the treaty. under Carter a new treaty was designed that would give every square meter of Panama Canal and it’s surrounding territory back to its rightful owners in 2020. Trump was President fours years before this happened. One can only assumed that he did not have enough intelligence to know this was going to happen. he could have bullied and broken the treaty and stole the land once again while he was president the first time
