Great job. I made a Noir one a little while ago. I used a old leather coat for the vest and the leftover sleeves for the helmet. Getting the mask to fit my head and neck was as you said a little challenging, so I used a zipper in the back at the 3/4 mark to make it easier to get on and off.
Hey! I'm making this costume too and I have a few questions about it! I hope that you have time to respond! 1- When I try to attach the goggles it works fine( on the manikin head) but then when I take it off, the goggles are way too low?! Have you encountered this problem, how did you fix it of so? 2- what did you use for the web shooter cartridges, if you have made them? 3- how long is the balaclava template and what template did you use? Thanks! The costume looks great!
I made that too. Here is what i can tell ya 1 put on the mask and put the goggles on, then mark the spot and put it on the foam head and glue it 2 use cardboard or foam for the base and for the details thin foam or cardboard 3 no idea if he has a template
Maybe if you just put the side of your head against the fabric you want to use, ask someone to draw the outline of your head, then cut 2 parts of fabric thanks to the line drawn on it, and sew both parts one to the other, which will make that sewing line going all along the mask and between the eyes. That's what I saw in another yt video : m.ruclips.net/video/cx7HHjSVaDg/видео.html I still have my doubts about how we can know it will have the right tightness, but I think I will try, tell me if it works for you or if you have a better idea to make a mask that fit right
Fucas, is there a a place to get all the materials you used? also a high quality picture of yours? Yours is so amazing and I've been wanting to make this, but can't find the proper stuff. If you could help me out that would be awesome! Thank you!
Is there a way to make goggles like this but with a ton of upgrades with expressions, colors representing emotions and if possible, the goggles tracking the movement of the eyes.
Hey! Few questions! So I'm looking everywhere to get the red fabric mask, and don't know how to make one myself. is it possible you can make a video or tell me the steps to making a red fabric mask? ...Also How did you get the goggles placed inside the mask itself? Did you still use the strap it comes with? or did you super glue them in..
Personally, I think you should've found a mask to go under your homemade mask so that it's still all defined around the nose/jaw, but you also still can talk with ease. Just a thought.
Project: Filmmaker don't use a shirt and pants, it'll be a pain to colour match them, find a pair of long johns, onesies, "underoos" and you'll have a much easier time

Would you ever be interested in a commission for a mask like this? I plan on making a homemade suit for a local convention next year, but I have no experience or skills when it comes to crafting anything like this. I could get measurements to you and plug you to anyone who asks. I'd love to talk with you and discuss further😊
I would love to know how you made the mask without a zipper, and more of the specifics on measurements and stitching. Can you provide any of those details?
