Means, u are going to have people look at u with a sight of humiliating you, with a sight of awe, look at you with a sight of praise, look at you with a sight of disgrace, the goal is to make all that completely irrelevant to your life to where the only sight u care about is Allah’s sight.

It happens we are occasionally disappointed from conduct of few people in Masjid we come across, but we should not stop going to the Masjid because someone at Masjid turned u off.
Because the goal of Islam is
the goal is to make all that completely irrelevant to your life to where the only sight u care about is Allah’s sight.

I know a story of a new revert who went back to the religion he came from because nobody from Muslims came to see him to the hospital when he fell sick.
Nobody cared to find out why he stopped coming to the masjid.
One day he came back to the Masjid to return Shalwar Qameez, he was given as a gift.
He informed the Imam, his previous church took care of him and none from Muslim community.
I believe his fundamentals were never straight to begin with.
He did not know, the goal of Islam is to come to a place where the only sight you care about is the sight of Allah.
& not flip flop based on the conduct of the Muslim community.
Because your higher or actual goal is submission to the will of Allah for eternal success.
