Her ability cooldowns can probably take a long time to generate. Characters that are out of her range or that can stun/pin/hook are effective Against her.
I know this isn't exactly the right place to suggest this, but I want this design idea to spread. Everything Sombra has hacked (ults, abilities, health packs, and for the aesthetic, the entire UI) should also have a glitch effect. Of course the health packs should keep the skull and the purple swirling things, but a glitch effect on the image of that is cool too. And also the skull should appear on top of where the ult is, and a purple tint along with the glitch effect on the abilities and the rest of the UI. Like this if you agree! Make sure Blizzard hears this!

Invisibility has a 6 second cooldown and so does the teleporter thingy and her hack has a 12 second cooldown. Her ult looks like it charges kinda fast and she is also pretty fast movement wise id say similar to genji in footspeed. Also she has 200 health.

the strength of genji i thought was best mobility in the game with one of his movement abilites refreshing on kill allowing more mobility...and since he has wall climb and double jump and sombra does not sombra will not replace genji.. and idk if anything will replace dragonblade esp with his dash refresh on kill...would be interesting to see how many genjis switch though...

She isn't. One of the devs on Stylosa's vid said that she can be seen while invisible by hanzo's sonic arrow (which relies on sound) and Widow's Infravision. IMHO, Sombra's addition in the meta will cause also a rise in Hanzo picks since every 10 second a good placed sonic arrow can reveal if she tries to flank. Also, if she's pretty close to you, you should see a shimmer where she is. That means, that if you're wary of her and she's running for her life she has a good chance to being discovered...plus, any damage can break her invisibility.
I am actually more glad about that than anything else i always see team stacking and i got bored of it i grew a hatred for it so i am so happy to see it die in quick play and move into its own gamemode

Her ult is nothing like graviton surge, if anything it's like the inverse. It doesn't have any cc but it prevents any abilities, whereas zarya's has all cc but they can still use their abilities. I bet they would pair really well to cc everything though
I don't quite understand as to why people are already complaining about her, her 6 second cooldown for her invisibility is reasonable to me with an ability where you can still get hit and you can't shoot. Think about it if people use it to approach enemies then they are left without an escape and if she uses it as an escape then she can easily be countered by Winston, Widowmaker, and Hanzo because if she turns invisible to run Winston does not need to aim, Hanzo can use his sonar arrow, and Widow can kill her if widows ult is up. She is a disruption character where dispatching ults and harassing the enemy team from behind. Her teleporter is limited so it's not like she can blink out at any time she need to know when to use it. I see great utility from her and she would be a valuable asset to offensive teams. I really want to play her but knowing the community I won't be able to play her for 3 weeks to a month when the hype dies down. I got a hold of Ana when she was not new anymore and I enjoyed her in serious scenarios and I feel the same with Sombra just hopefully people won't play her 24/7.
Sombra may seem overpowered, but just looking at this gameplay I can tell she has the 3 stars for a reason. You need to know when is the right time to go invisible, who/what to disable, timing your abilities, and know when to engage. She is squishy, and I can already tell heroes such as Winston, Zenyatta (I assume she doesnt lose the Discord orb when she invises or teleports), Snipers may be a challenge depending on the distance, Roadhog's hook will kill her nicely, Torbjorn and his turrent are a back and forth if you get close enough to hack (REMEMBER the "Hack" ability is CLOSE RANGE and stops when you are damaged much like stealth). Junkrat I recognize is her last counter as she can fall prey to his trap planted EVEN ON HER BEACON or trip it when she is invisible, and she cant escape. Before we nag at blizzard to nerf the hero we have waited a couple of years for, test her out, see her weaknesses, and go from there instead of jumping to conclusions.
on the one hand, looks freaking cool and fun to play. On the other hand, guaranteed to be picked up by all the players least capable of using her effectively _and_ fairly, or just the most frustrating possible thing to play against.
she has such insane movement abilities, if you're gonna take her down it'll have to be done in the shortest time possible or she'll be gone.. kinda like Tracer except she might have disappeared to the other side of the map, not just round a corner

Kra88ypa77yJR you are mostly correct, while spy changes in and out of invisibility he is visible for 1 second. if he bumps into anyone he will become visible for 2 seconds, causing him to be vulnerable. and he can only go invisible for a certain time limit, depending on which invisible item you use...
So two of he highlight intros (not counting heroic) were shown in this video from what I could see. Sombra using her Ult will probably be one and the end one where she runs around invisible before pointing her gun at the screen. The third is probably the "Boop" everyone is hoping for.

She isn't. One of the devs on Stylosa's vid said that she can be seen while invisible by hanzo's sonic arrow (which relies on sound) and Widow's Infravision. IMHO, Sombra's addition in the meta will cause also a rise in Hanzo picks since every 10 second a good placed sonic arrow can reveal if she tries to flank.
Also, if she's pretty close to you, you should see a shimmer where she is. That means, that if you're wary of her and she's running for her life she has a good chance to being discovered...plus, any damage can break her invisibility.
Meaning winston and symmetra are also good counters since their weapons autotarget her (and hopefully her turrets too)

Using more than two ults on a team fight against a team using less than that (or none at all) probably already lost you the next teamfight anyway. And after the -25% ult charge rate nerf hits, that will happen even outside higher level comp
Her ult is nothing like graviton surge, if anything it's like the inverse. It doesn't have any cc but it prevents any abilities, whereas zarya's has all cc but they can still use their abilities. I bet they would pair really well to cc everything though

Blizzard doesn't need to nerf characters anymore... they just add really cool ones for counter play.
I don't quite understand as to why people are already complaining about her, her 6 second cooldown for her invisibility is reasonable to me with an ability where you can still get hit and you can't shoot. Think about it if people use it to approach enemies then they are left without an escape and if she uses it as an escape then she can easily be countered by Winston, Widowmaker, and Hanzo because if she turns invisible to run Winston does not need to aim, Hanzo can use his sonar arrow, and Widow can kill her if widows ult is up. She is a disruption character where dispatching ults and harassing the enemy team from behind.
Her teleporter is limited so it's not like she can blink out at any time she need to know when to use it. I see great utility from her and she would be a valuable asset to offensive teams.
I really want to play her but knowing the community I won't be able to play her for 3 weeks to a month when the hype dies down. I got a hold of Ana when she was not new anymore and I enjoyed her in serious scenarios and I feel the same with Sombra just hopefully people won't play her 24/7.

Sombra may seem overpowered, but just looking at this gameplay I can tell she has the 3 stars for a reason. You need to know when is the right time to go invisible, who/what to disable, timing your abilities, and know when to engage. She is squishy, and I can already tell heroes such as Winston, Zenyatta (I assume she doesnt lose the Discord orb when she invises or teleports), Snipers may be a challenge depending on the distance, Roadhog's hook will kill her nicely, Torbjorn and his turrent are a back and forth if you get close enough to hack (REMEMBER the "Hack" ability is CLOSE RANGE and stops when you are damaged much like stealth). Junkrat I recognize is her last counter as she can fall prey to his trap planted EVEN ON HER BEACON or trip it when she is invisible, and she cant escape. Before we nag at blizzard to nerf the hero we have waited a couple of years for, test her out, see her weaknesses, and go from there instead of jumping to conclusions.

Kra88ypa77yJR you are mostly correct, while spy changes in and out of invisibility he is visible for 1 second. if he bumps into anyone he will become visible for 2 seconds, causing him to be vulnerable. and he can only go invisible for a certain time limit, depending on which invisible item you use...
