Great review ❤ I’m completely addicted to this scent 😊 even my husband loves it and he’s not usually keen on perfume. He loves lemon and everything lemon 🍋 so this is a winner for me 🍋 it’s also one of a few scents I can wear on my skin without any issues. I have multiple backups 😂 on my skin the candied lemon lasts about 2 hours and then dries down to a vanilla cream scent. I get about 4-6 hours of silage, then I refresh it, never more than 3 sprays to keep it fresh and close to me. I think it would layer well with BBW lemon pound cake 🧁 or D&G light blue. I sometimes layer it with BBW Sheer Cotton and Lemonade (my bottle is several years old, it’s very similar to Light Blue)
Hi Miri! I bought a travel spray when Devotion launched. I immediately bought a 50ml😊 And then a 100 ml backup during a Sephora sale. 🤭 I love it!!!!! I’m giving the travel spray to my granddaughter to try. 😊 I also bought Casamorati Lira for 63% off during the Jomashop sale. I love that too! And it lasts overnight. I received it at dinner time and sprayed it immediately. I could still smell it in the morning. It will probably get even better with time. I’m equally enamored with Burberry Goddess. 😂 I haven’t layered anything with Devotion…yet. 🤔 I usually just let a fragrance shine on its own. Aahahahhahahah, while reading your comment, I felt like you were sparkling with joy. That's great! Devotion is a beautiful scent and also one of my favorite new releases last year. I also have Lira and I love it too. I hope in the future I'll be able to make a video comparison between Lira and Devotion, but currently, I have many perfumes in my collection I want to review, and I haven't talked about them yet. Well……it turns out that I have Intensement and OUI!!!😳 The bottle looked familiar while researching…..and there it was! It doesn’t say the name on the bottle, but it was the same bottle.….Thank goodness I didn’t buy it again!!😂 I should be able to get a great price on the OG second hand. But I’ll check my travel sprays FIRST!!😂😂😂😂 I feel like an idiot….🫣

Just a little correction: on Fragrantica pana cotta is listed as one of the notes in Devotion (and I've been talking about it in the review), although in the interview Olivier Cresp said he was actually inspired by panettone, another Italian dessert. Devotion doesn't resemble the scent of panettone to me because it lacks denseness, booziness, heavy pastry scent and dried fruit aroma, so the part where I compare Devotion with pana cotta is what I still think this perfume is most similar to. Does Devotion resemble the scent of panettone on your skin? ☺ What is your experience testing or wearing Devotion? Do you know of any other similar vanilla-lemon designer perfume and do you usually like gourmand fragrances? 😉🙃🌸
I blind bought a 50ml for Xmas! I struggle w lactonic notes, although I love milk to drink. Don't know if it's my nose or how lactonic works on my skin chemistry (was repelled by Blanche Bête.) So, Devotion is my affordable attempt for adjusting to lactonic gourmand notes. I do have a small Princess, so I may try that combo 😉. Just to note that Olivier Cresp calls his inspiration panattone, the Xmas dessert bread, and fragrantica is wrong! But as you said, there are many lemon desserts or treats it can evoke depending on which notes sing. Thanks for the review, Miri! p.s. I am going on a No Blind Buy resolution, but Devotion was sooo popular I knew I could always resell it.

Lactonic perfumes are tricky, and I'm happy my skin emphasizes more powdery aspects in Devotion than it does lactonic nuances. 😉 Thank you for correcting the inspiration, I'll write the correction in my comment. I've read now the interview with Olivier Cresp and I saw the inspiration was panettone and not the listed pana cotta on the Fragrantica. I have Milano Fragranze Panettone (I'll review it soon). When I compare how similar Panettone and Devotion are, they can't be more different. Milano Fragranze manages to capture the essence of panettone, while Devotion goes in a completely different direction. It's lighter, more vanillic and powdery on my skin. Eehehhehe, yeah, perfumes are really addictive so I know what you mean. I decided not to buy anything new until I review all the fragrances I already own so it will take some time. 🥰
It has a very aggressive, almost nauseating twist after the first opening so I had ro give it away. Also it got me headache. I like a gourmand and vanilla, but this wasn't for me. If I want a sweet scent I much more prefer Killian's love don't be shy
I'm so sad it didn't work out for you, but it is very strong and a bit pungent initially, although it settles really nicely on my skin. Thanks for sharing your experience. 😉🙃
