As a Korean, my dad went to military training. He told me so many stories about the military, and I have huge respect for anyone who went to the military.

Suga won't be going to the border line as he has gone through a shoulder surgery. Instead, it came in our newspaper today, he would be serving as a social service agent. I am not gonna lie, I am really sad about BTS leaving. But I feel proud that they did not back off from their duties. I am sure they'll make it through and be back. And even if they choose to extend their service, I will support their choice.
The oldest member Jin will be training in the frontlines/border of the country all winter till he's placed in a battalion. Honestly the things you mentioned are nothing compared to what happens behind closed doors. Possible bullying might happen because of jealousy or whatever. Being peeked on while showering since it’s a communal shower. When GD was in the military things happened like missing underwear or soldiers drawing them naked. He had a black credit card so the soldiers could use freely which I think was so smart. People change when they come out. I hope these things don’t happen to them.
I'm not much of a bts fan, but I'm sure proud to see them go to the army to learn what being a man takes. As a guy who will have to go through mandatory military service in a few years, I can tell that no matter your background, you will survive army. Stay strong BTS!

@@SachinThakur-wk9ft actually they partially did. The Korean govt was postponing the decision for years to milk out bts success and at one point bts themselves got tired of it and came forward w the decision to enlist themselves at the peak of their career without delaying it till few more years

I'll give you guys the benefit of the doubt. Lets say the government wanted to make more money and kept postponing the service. Even if this was the case, in the end bts would have to go the militiary sooner or later. Likely in their mid 40's because that's when male beauty starts declining at a much faster rate.

I live in singapore where I have to serve in the army for 2 years. I am current serving my army service but it is fortunately not very tough due to me having several medical conditions. I have more freedom and the things that happen in the army for me isn't very tough or scary..
While they're gone, let's hope that the girls that make up the toxic BTS army will no longer be toxic. And to just appreciate anyone regardless of what music they prefer!

I am confident that they will do great in the military. With their mindset and the kind of people I, as an army have known them to be. As much as I hate BTS, I cant deny the fact that sending them to the military was the dumbest decision. Even if you look at them as an unethical reason, the BTS brings about minimum of 4billion dollar to South Korea. That is a lot for a small country. Not to mention, what difference of around like idk, 7 people do if they don't serve?
I feel like south korean government is making a tough choice by forgetting there billions that bts could roll in by 2025 and in name of equality. Look not everyone is born equal, neither treated equally. There are people who dont want to go military and physical training stuff but can provide far greater help by making million dollar donations. So there should be an option. Its not about bts, but not everyone wants to serve the nation at borders directly. I am grateful to be born in India, where i can serve my country in other ways...

Yes. It’s compulsory for all able-bodied men from age 16 1/2 to 18 to attend military service.

I am confident that they will do great in the military. With their mindset and the kind of people I, as an army have known them to be. Despite the obvious delaying of their service by the sk government, being the people that they are declared on their own that they are going. Surely, It will be so worth it to wait for their return💜

I think training in the army would be easy for them because training for becoming an idol star is extremely hard and BTS went through 10 times the difficulty of the average hard work of an idol Star the literally experienced harshness and cruelty throughout their entire lives .

As much as I hate BTS, I cant deny the fact that sending them to the military was the dumbest decision. Even if you look at them as an unethical reason, the BTS brings about minimum of 4billion dollar to South Korea. That is a lot for a small country. Not to mention, what difference of around like idk, 7 people do if they don't serve?

I feel like south korean government is making a tough choice by forgetting there billions that bts could roll in by 2025 and in name of equality. Look not everyone is born equal, neither treated equally. There are people who dont want to go military and physical training stuff but can provide far greater help by making million dollar donations. So there should be an option. Its not about bts, but not everyone wants to serve the nation at borders directly. I am grateful to be born in India, where i can serve my country in other ways...
