Rich, i have been riding and rebuilding Triumphs for years, a couple of improvements i have made to my transmission is change it to a wider ratio, also, i change ALL the bronze bushings to a slightly harder alloy, lightened the camplate & replaced the rocker spindle to a 1974 t140V spec as it is scrolled for better lubrication to the rocker arms, also machined rocker spacers to eliminate those thackery washers and of course Nitrided the Crankshaft, Just an insight,,,,,,Great video
Question...gear shift fine going from 1st to 4th but shifting down from 4th to 2nd they grind unless I'm almost or comng to a stop. Any suggestions? I have adjusted the clutch but doesn't seem to help

This was really informative, thanks!
I hate how the big bores don't flare out as much as the originals. They make one that mimics the originals?
Thank you so much about to tear mine down 👍
Where can I find measuring tolerances for the transmission gears and shafts?
Can you disable the trans without pulling the clutch??
the mainshaft is connected to the clutch hub so without that center nut pulled you can not remove mainshaft
Good job but you forgot thrust washer on the outer cover
its there..i use grease to hold it to the cover taking advantage of the locator pin.
Thank for pointing that out. Pretty good video though. I appreciate it.
