Lantern Sang fixes everything wrong with Sunshowers kit: Lowering his SP at will and not by using a status effect on self to do it (that can often backfire), giving benefits to being hit and losing clashes, and still not losing damage by having unbreakable coins. I hope this is a sign PM is going to make more Negative SP IDs in the future.
No I want it to exist because this is literally the only teambuilding/team-strategizing rupture even has rn (having to run gluttony doesn’t count since thats more mandatory than optional)

I test this ID and I can't really tell if he is good with the negative coins built or not still love this ID because of how fun and consistent it is to keep the insanity level to zero.
Best case scenario when you have all other IDs levels and everything, yea, you'll just use him for resources on death. For a budget rupture team he'd be great, since he's basically 7cliff but more rupture count, less potency (and more gimmicks)

I disagree. If you were a rupture veteran, seeing a gluttony defense that is 1 rupture positive INSTANTLY makes this a GOD TIER rupture unit (even if only below 15/3).

@@shardtherox I also disagree, I think W sang is better 99% of the time but it does help that the counter has count to make it not negative, he's way better in a solo since count is more manageable as he's alone, but he's only useful at high potency/count when he dies since that's where he starts to become useless and lose his kit, and with W sang existing it's kind of a devyat clair situation where if you have wsang with dim shredder you don't really have a reason to use him
@OK4Lisateur Although Wsang is usable past the threshold, I find Lantern to be way more reliable, as unlike WSang, 1. he has a gluttony defense whereas WSang relies on drawing S2 for gluttony, and 2. Wsang is useless on turn 1 as he needs at least 2 turns to be able to get enough Charge to make S2 neutral whereas Lantern can do 4 Count (S2) or 2 Count (Counter) on turn 1. (If you haven’t inferred already, I’m a Talisman player. I heavily emphasize on consistency and early turn value simply because Talisman teams are extremely fast in general. For reference, I very consistently clear 7-34 in 5 turns)

He’s actually really good in stacking rupture, if his skill 1-2 get ‘destroyed’ it still applies rupture but don’t use up counts.
