I think the reason those people didn’t have portraits in the ending cutscene is because Poof murdered so many people that the game was not able to populate the prison with new NPCs before the game ended.
I really love when he plays this game. It's honestly the only game I really watch this guy play; you can tell he enjoys himself, too, since unlike in other games where he's screaming nonstop and breaking stuff in real life, this one he's always laughing and getting amused.

Oh my god, that's amazing. You get found guilty for the dumbest shit in this game, but you kill a room full of people and the judge sides with you. I love this game.
Easiest way to beat the game is to murder everyone in your cellblock. I'm being serious, if you manage to get a decent weapon start eliminating the guards and after they're dead kill the inmates. The game does slowly respawn NPCs to replace dead ones but you can kill them faster. Once everyone in your cellblock is dead you now have a safe zone where you can just sleep away days of your sentence without interruption. Btw low reputation means inmates like you less but a higher chance to not be blamed when brought to court and the opposite for high rep. Bonus: You won't get caught killing people in the shower (unless a prisoner snitches which is rare) by the infirmary and the showers slowly heal you, sleep is still better though.
Hardtime deserves to live on and this is one of the best series on poofs channel. We have over 3 hours of hardtime game play from poof and it’s amazing. Thank you poof

I've legit beaten that game exactly once without cheats. It's really easy to get sucked into a circle of violence where you attack someone (in self-defense or otherwise), causing feuds that turn into further attacks. I found doing a prison job, keeping to yourself when away from the job, and keeping punctual was what it took.
If you assault an officer and get him to chase you, then go to another room, the siren will go off and all the wardens will go after you on sight. During this time, the prison will not attempt to replace dead wardens and prisoners. Essentially this allows you to kill everyone in the prison as long as a warden doesn't catch you.
This is poof playing hardtime: undertale genocide. Speaking of, it would be cool if he played undertale on his channel. Even though it really would be really different from what he normally does.
Poofesure: I’m the strongest, agile and smartest prisoner ever. Me: and your the most feared prisoner too! (The more reputation you have the more other people fear you).
@@TheGoombassador He's the one who came the closest and the only one I've seen who didn't use the cheat that changes your sentence, but ultimately still ended up using cheats in the end. If he knew about the stat requirements beforehand he probably could've done it.

I’m not sure if this will work on the computer version but I remember in the mobile version I think u can escape the prison by climbing over the fence in the yard and this will bring you to a city
That is real life jail. No matter how big and how strong u r or how fast u can run the COs always win. They just keep sending more and more people until they finally subdue you.
One time playing this game, I had an inmate survive losing an arm and both of his legs. He was stuck in an infinite loop of falling over and getting back up until his fellow prisoners finally put him out of his misery
