Much better than what NI have put out there as a guide. This is very easy to follow. I'll be looking out for more
Thank you Femi. Was planning to cover more sound examples but wanted to keep it simple.

Hie sir i dont get the drag option. How can i enable it?
I’m not really sure what’s wrong have you checked the user manual
Is this still available to purchase? I have the komplete 13 ultimate
I think it’s part of komplete 13
I have an 88 key keyboard. But I see that sometimes there are more sounds than keys on my keyboard. I can't move the keyboard so that it reaches those notes that I can't reach, what can I do?
Note sure.. maybe you have octave plus and minus buttons?
Hey I came here from wearethemusicmakers from reddit, informative video!
Great to see you here. I just started sharing in reddit.
I have lot's of tutorials.. feel free to look around.. there is also a Community tab with updates.

Thanks. That was great. I'm finding the volume level to be slightly lower on the Cubase side (this is after i've dragged the pattern over to a track, of course). Where/how can I get the Cubase level to match?
I’ll check it out but i think it’s more that the plugin volume is too high to begin with and in cubase it follow the midi velocity set in the clip.
So I checked and don't hear/see a difference. I played a pattern it reached around -6db then dragged the midi part to Cuabse and played and it's the same level. Make sure your Kontakt level is set to zero.
@@UDiAudio I'm using the Bolon instrument.
Did you mean set the master volume to 0? It was up a bit. Also I found an eq setting that was active so I deactivated that.
Between the 2 things (eq & Mstr vol) it's now almost the same but I would still say theres a slight difference with cubase playback track not sounding as dynamic.
But even if mstr vol was up shouldn't that translate to the track reflecting that level?
Thank you very much.
@@milenadeltorto7158 So first maybe we can take this discussion into Discord. I can share with you screenshots and we can talk. discord.gg/NxHD65hp
Second, I just opened a new project in cubase. Added two instrument tracks with kontakt and loaded West Africa (the first ensemble preset). Next I added a midi clip to the first playing one bar of C1 at velocity 100. Into the other track I dragged the pattern. I inserted loudness meter on both tracks and they are almost identical. The dragged pattern is 1DB louder (integrated LUFS). So all I need to match is set the first track midi clip C1 note to 101 velocity.
If instead of creating a midi clip for the first track I would play my keyboard I guess it really depends on how hard I play it which is not constant and might be soft or hard..
@@milenadeltorto7158 OK.. now I get it. I missed the Bolon part...
So yes I can see that when drag&drop the pattern it is softer than playing the keyswitch (C1) for example and the velocity of the keyswitch C1 doesn't really affect the velocity since it's just a key switch. Strange and I guess it's something to do with how the keyswitch trigger the pattern.. I'll try to dig in but I really not sure what can fix this.. maybe open a support ticket?
