i am an norwegian high schooler and i REALLY want to study abroad in America. My only worries is that my english skills aren’t good enough and that i can’t keep up in class if i don’t understand.. do you think that it was a hard part when studying abroad? and how do i know if i can take it?
Getting a full ride as an international student is quite uncommon and even though this video is quite helpful, it is not the most realistic approach since it may lead international students to believe they can easily do this. Please take the time to call your university's financial aid office and ask for campus jobs beforehand. Also, summer college programs are super overrated in my opinion and very unaffordable, so don't think is normal for international students or required at all. In your essays, make sure to emphasize the fact that you easily stand out from the rest of your classmates because you always had the idea of studying abroad. Mentioning how close you are to the American university culture even though it may not have been directly "handed" to you (ex: you did not attend an international school or had the same opportunities as others). There are many factors that international students consider to be weaknesses but are actually strengths (we tend to have a very different profile, use it to your advantage!) - International student accepted to Columbia University & Sciences Po Paris

Aloha Katie! Is there a possibility of strong financial aid for IB international student (Asian) who wants to study premed in the US? Love your channel 🌼 ♥
I always dream of studying abroad. At sobrang kabado na ako ngayon dahil malapit na akong magcollege. But when I heard what their awards and extracurriculars were, parang binagsakan ako ng langit at lupa. Nakakapasok naman ako sa top 5 palagi (disclaimer: I'm not bragging) pero hindi talaga ako napipili as pambato sa mga contest.. because someone's always better than me. And it hurts dahil parang wala na akong pag-asa makastudy abroad dahil aside sa fact na I'm not that smart (but I know to myself na I can be better), is that I don't have that much achievements so far. But I'm still going to be a grade 10 student tho. Doble kayod nalang talaga ako this school year para makahakot ng maraming awards and extracurriculars in just one school year before moving up, kahit parang wala na atang pa contest2x and syempre gatherings dahil sa COVID19 😭 Pero pursigido parin ako in making my long-time dream into reality kahit mapa 1% pa 'yang natitirang pag-asa ko at kahit ako lang ang nawiwila sa sarili ko 💔 I'm not giving up, yet.. Please pray for me 💔 btw, thanks for the video.. it's very informative and inspiring 💕

omg this is super helpful cause I really want to study abroad but I can't even afford a international school here in the ph maybe you can make a video too about scholarship in international school here in manila
How can I apply this scholarships? Where? Does it requires awards? What if I'm just a simple student but have a dream to study abroad? What should I do?
the guy explained it at 3:32. But honestly, getting scholarship is impossible is you are just an average student. The higher the scholarship fees they offering, the higher academic and awards you must achieve. You can google around, like that guy who help built the satellite suggested

Hi! Our school usually ends in May and I read that unis in the USA require grades from 9th to 12th grade. I’m currently in 11th grade right now, when should I send my applications? Do I still have to wait until May 2022 to get my 12th year grades or I can apply earlier? I hope you can reply to this! Thank you!
Idk if this is too late but judging by when you finish 12th grade, you should be applying right now. You should put all of your grades so far, and then if they accept you, they'll ask for your grades from the rest of 12th grade/final exams. Hope this helped! (Most application deadlines are around january so I hope this isnt too late)
I've been dreaming to study there in us i will be college next year but i still don't know what are the process to apply, and is it necessary to be smart?just to be accepted
sorry if it’s too late but you have to: •take the sat or act near the end of your junior year or middle of senior year •try hard in your countries exams atm as these will go toward your equivalent of a gpa • apply for schools through the common app (this usually costs money)

You should start working on your application when you're in 10th year. I believe that 8th grade is still in middle school, so your chances of getting accepted is low unless you are a child prodigy or genius. Good luck!

So, if God allows, I'll pursue my dream after finishing my degree now. Your chances are still high and likely similar to these students in the video. I think we’re all classified as international students so there will be colleges ready to offer us a lot of aid if we’re qualified and just apply! Go for it and congrats on being accepted to the 3 schools! Check out the CSS profile because I believe you apply for aid after being accepted like Chino did!

Aloha Katie! Is there a possibility of strong financial aid for IB international student (Asian) who wants to study premed in the US? Love your channel 🌼 ♥
Tenzin Palmo YES! I definitely know people doing that. Thank you❤️
@@KatieTracy 😘 Thank youu
Alohaa Katie✨ Shoutout next video plss thank you katiee!
Nice to know that, because I got bright niece na nephew , who just want to go to good college.
Hey Katie love you soo much and I watch every single on of your videos #alohana
i really want to study abroad but i don't think i can take the SATs for next year because it's not available in our area
Make sure to research which programs you study with. I have heard of some programs have relocated kids and put many Asian students in areas that had high hate crime rates. Love you
every one check minnesota state university mankato they do give scholarship
I really want to study in international schools, but Im from PH and Im not rich so its really hard knowing its impossible
Can you make a video about international students in cornell ? ❣️
ooh I'll keep that in mind! In December I did vlogmas actually and I talked about some things only international students understand. I believe it was my "a busy day in my life" (or one of my first 3 vlogmas vlogs) so I'd highly recommend checking it out :)
Hi my name is David and I was wondering where do I apply for good scholarships or students aid
omg this is super helpful cause I really want to study abroad but I can't even afford a international school here in the ph maybe you can make a video too about scholarship in international school here in manila
Aw im so happy to hear this helped!! Ill keep that in mind❤️
omg and u just noticed me 💕
How can I apply this scholarships?
Same 🙂

COOL 😎💥👍
I've been dreaming to study there in us i will be college next year but i still don't know what are the process to apply, and is it necessary to be smart?just to be accepted
sorry if it’s too late but you have to:
•take the sat or act near the end of your junior year or middle of senior year
•try hard in your countries exams atm as these will go toward your equivalent of a gpa
• apply for schools through the common app (this usually costs money)
Also does it determine if you’ll get into the college or not
yesss i am going to Minnesota state university mankato
CONGRATS!! Best of luck🤗
hello, im a college graduate here in the Philippines and want to take another course in a community college in Florida, it is possible to apply for financial aid or scholarship?

Do you have to pay back financial aid
Alohaaaa!
Is this applicable for incoming med students?
Hi. Gusto ko lang sana mag take if pwede pa ko mag apply for free scholarship kahit graduate na ko ng college? Sana masagot niyo po ako. Salamat
I'm incoming grade 8 this school year in the Philippines, i want to apply early in harvard. Is it possible to apply early for 2027?
You should start working on your application when you're in 10th year. I believe that 8th grade is still in middle school, so your chances of getting accepted is low unless you are a child prodigy or genius. Good luck!
I'm currently studying a degree in a state university in the Philippines. It's my dream to study abroad but its currently super impossible for my family to afford it. So, if God allows, I'll pursue my dream after finishing my degree now. And I'd like to ask if I could still get the chance to receive a financial aid or scholarships if it's my second degree already ? (I'm planning to take a second degree😅)

In what age we get scholarships
Now I hate myself for being dumb lol 😂 I'm so proud of them tho
Whaat you’re not dumb!! We just learn at different paces and I’m sure something great is in store for you. Thank you❤️
@@KatieTracy thank u for that. I'll keep that in mind. The "dumb" part was kinda overly dramatic lol tho you're really an inspiration. It's freaky how I think I know u (I actually dont on a personal level) and how I watch ur videos as a go to. Love u from PH. 💖
Whats my chance of applying for financial aids or scholarships as an African, Nigerian precisely.
dolly p yes. I am really interested in this. I have already gotten into 3 schools. And its expensive.. any tips or help to get financial aid? I am Ghanaian
Can i study abroad in my own without my parents or nahh???
I need full scholarship
