Good points all of them. I think scram 440 makes the best sense currently as a complete allrounder, it is heavy which is its only negative (weight is low down but still could have been lighter).
@@gentlemenandmotorcycles Agree, which is why I only see the next version 440 as the best choice. I saw the reviews, they seem to have fixed the vibration and refined the engine. It is the form that seems best suited for an allrounder, at 25BHP it has just enough for all conditions including highway. More and your Fuel economy and range suffers. You are right can only verify it when they release it.
@@ride.2heal they are both on the heavy side. like 7 kg difference. honestly anything above 150 kg is too heavy for a motorcycle (cruisers being the only exception). I have a hard time considering 400x as a true scrambler. Its a naked road bike, and it is a better road bike. But as a scrambler, no it is not a good bike for off-road. Scram 411 or the upcoming scram 440 will simply be good in all roads and all use cases. touring/work commute/ offroad. Its just in that sweet spot of being the best choice for those who want to have only one bike, that does everything and goes everywhere without giving up anything.

According to you, what should be the ideal engine displacement for touring? (Taking into account a pillion rider + saddle bags + large tank).
