  • Stepped off an Alpha One for a go on a 10-year-old M8 and was surprised how good this old snowmobile was to ride.

    Been riding a 06 m7 for about 4 years now. Before that was stretched out Zr/mountain cat builds. The m7 has been great and still keeps up with the newer mountain sleds but it’s twice the work. I just bought a 2020 alpha one mc and I can’t wait to try it. Snow can’t come soon enough!! Really enjoy all your videos and the reviews. Keep up the great work!!

      True. On my own sled I would have blasted through these little twigs, but the owner took this sled to his wedding years ago, can you believe it. Still has the wedding message on the hood. Figure I shouldn’t be wrecking it.

    Great video! Going to check out a machine very similar to this in a few days. I love my old '02 Yamaha, but its not too fond of the deep stuff. Thanks for giving me a good idea what to expect!

    • @AkatarawaJapan
      @AkatarawaJapan  3 года назад

      Good on you. The old Yamahas like the Mountain Max are heavy as hell and not set up at all for mountain riding, but I've found they've got surprisingly good balance on their side in the pow, so long as it's not too deep and not too steep.
