Four dot ellipsis can be quite a polarizing topic. They’re confusing to many including myself, while nerds good at words may find them trivial. At first glance it may seem unnecessary, overly complicated, or not too applicable in the real world. Yet when you analyze verbal speech, especially in politics, you’ll find that much of it ends with figurative four dots ellipsis. People consciously or subconsciously, along with other persuasive tricks, do this to push a listener in a certain direction and then have said listener finish the thought on their own. The saying “politicians speak of so much but nothing at the same time” may be very intentional for some through the use of implanting strategies they find through analysis of speech and grammar. Politicians often manipulate language intentionally without providing examples or proof of their claims, only the concept to which the listener fills the afterthought with their own bias. The politicians, their words can trail off, leaving much unsaid but implied….
Being a strongman isn’t just about lifting heavy weights…. It’s about mental toughness, discipline and pushing past limits…. Strength isn’t just physical…. It’s a way of life.
Mitchell hooper showing us all how to dominate in the gym. My thoughts on that…. My work in the gym today on snatches was really something… Those are my best examples
New challenge for you after you win out this up coming season. (No pressure lol) try to get on disneys dancing with the stars. Show the softer side of strongman lol. Awesome info and effort as always. And I enjoyed the live workout with Q&A. Enjoy the holidays I bet you’re excited for Peyton’s first Christmas.
Your videos are very motivating and make me want to get back in the gym. I have so much going on it is hard to get back in but I would if…. So that's why I can't.
The use of the four dot ellipsis, or “end of the sentence,” noted by Mitchell Hooper was explained in the beginning of this video as a lesson which I thoroughly enjoyed as it brings an aspect of fun learning for the viewers. Following this lesson Mitchell Hooper transitions to his chest workout, challenging himself through the entirety of his session….
Reminds me of my old bodybuilding days in the late 70s, early 80s...and doing full reps until you can only do partials, and continue doing partial reps until you cant even move the weight anymore...then do holds/burns at the end to cause even more pain and pump! Great workouts....inspired by Tom Platz back then...
70's training was totally different from the 80s They did far more deeper range of movement on all of their exercises The 80s was the beginning of the ego lifters with less range of movement The guy in the red top is not even doing the full range like they did in the 70s
"In the comments use your 'best' three or four dot ellipsis." That's my attempt. I'm going to give that que that Matt gave a try on that fly machine. We have the same piece in my gym and I always touch the handle together when I do that exercise. This wont be a popular comment on this channel, but Matt if your read these, do your best to talk Mitchell into competing in bodybuilding. Id love to see a 260-270 pound shredded Moose on stage. *EDIT* Yeah well, I'm jealous in my soul of people who use double or triple my weight for work sets, So we are even. 🤣
Mitch you gotta into tricep isolation if you want build those nasty triceps. You said that’s where you’re struggling. The best advice I’ve received for triceps has been from both Matt Wenning and Mike O Hearn. Seriously you should hit them up and work with both them. It’d make for great content!
Why do i always push every rep to lock out i only see that as a full rep if tou don't lock out you aint getting the full muscle are you? If im wrong someone tell me if its better to not lock out
Humbling watching you guys go through a non-strongman style workout. With most of the exercises you're doing, your warmup sets are using weights that are either my working sets or beyond.
Mitchell hooper…. Oiled up
This implies i have at least a paragraph to say about the matter
The fourth dot in the 4 dot ellipsis comes after oiled up.
A 3 dot ellipsis… does it never end on a period?
No.
The “I like to be more pure” and then smash cut to the Shaw squat was beautiful

The Moose, working on his chest and grammar, nailing any work like a hammer....
Адская тренировка. Тор тебя никогда не победит. Его самая тяжелая тренировка для тебя легкая разминка)))
I love the learning. Please keep doing it!!
Loved the live training session

This is exactly what Mitch heard from Alyssa “if you’re doing it between…. Finish your sentence.”
Mitchell Hooper is my hero because….
Nice duo
Your videos are very motivating and make me want to get back in the gym. I have so much going on it is hard to get back in but I would if…. So that's why I can't.
Hold up! I think I recall a video of you saying dumbell presses are a waste of time. Yet! Here you are dumbell pressing.

Mitch's arm wrestling career.... and then Brian Shaw was like.... what could Eddie have been thinking.... that was embarrassing.

Sorry if this is a daft question but is the dumbbell press and the loaded pin press not the same thing? Like the same exercise?
That…machine fly….elbow tip…….is..helpful….

When doing the DB fly's, where should your elbows be? Yours were tight to your body, his were farther out. Does it really matter?
first lets go bro loving thje vids
I forgot.... Oh well.
Mitch, where'd you get that shirt?
Matt and the Moose. Good dudes. I miss AK. Great gym. Great atmosphere.
In your live training video, you showed a cable attachment for atlas stone rows. I can't seem to find that product online. Can anyone help
How would improve that tricep lockout strength? Pure hypertrophy?
Where can I find more of her RUclips. I'm all about learning ellipses and grammar and ....
2:20 I tried that and I feel the pain in the front of the shoulder. Kind of like doing a pushup
Real life superman
Awesome....
RIP Levan………
Ripped Monster Moose 2025 💪🏼
The glycemic index of white rice and gummy bears is almost indentical
I was at work today and Then I realized it was chest day….
How close in strength are each of your arms? I ask because I regularly fail one rep earlier on one side than the other, not sure what to do about it
Try to focus more on the arm that is weaker. Use dumbbells and iso lateral exercises to help improve the lacking side.
Deadlifting 505kg despite all the uncertainties, we believe you can do it, but being a body builder ....
It's obvious how much effort went into this!
No barbell bench press? 👀
My reaction to this video can’t be expressed in just one sentence ….
Welcome to another becoming a mutant, hitting... Before we get stuck into it.... Never mind.
Hooper for Mr Olympia 2025
You Mean Puzianlympia 💪🏻😏🇵🇱

Doctor strong tell your weakness
Wanna get into powerlifting but not too sure if the program I made is sufficient
So what's hooper favorite dessert
Why do i always push every rep to lock out i only see that as a full rep if tou don't lock out you aint getting the full muscle are you? If im wrong someone tell me if its better to not lock out
Studies are showing partial reps are just as good if not better than a full rep. Check out videos of Jeff Nippard channel
Back In the day I'd have made a period joke... For now ellipsis'll have to do....
I had a poo....
Is the split chest, chest, legs, chest?
From Moose to Mutant....

I use ellipsis all the time and I'm not using them correctly. Now will be the last time...
Do a training video with Dr. Mike!
Elipse Eschmipse....
Most commenters don't even know the difference between there and they're, much less their.
I don't speak English as a first language but even I know these. But I've noticed in YT comments that many people don't know
Mr Olympia 2025
I’m only here for the grammar lessons….
I use the dots to represent the time periods and gaps between things I am saying..........and dont care what the rules are........gnome a sayin?
Today I learned that a moose can also be a goat....
...His name is Mitchell Hooper ;)
My 3 year old...already weighs 45lbs
You should be ashamed for making your kid obese. There is no way a 3-year-old is healthy at 45 lb.
Audio not good on the live
💪💪🏿✨🔥🔥
Ellipses are just for folk who think they’re being clever….
Wasn't there a Ukrainian strongman named Ellipse?...
10:04 KATE BREAK!
Well...I was gonna comment but....
75lbs 4 year old....Mitch is tongan.
I’ll stick with the one dot moose dropping….
.
Ellipsis...really?
While I think I understand, I think I don’t really want to care because….
2024 saw 8/9; 2025....
"I didn't tell you to eat all those cookies last night."
