Yesss there was the official benz'n on a budget intro 😁👍🏼 Yoooo, that black interior is a really nice upgrade. And the black painted door "rubber" is looking also classy 🤘🏼 But what a good paint, looks like new again 👍🏼 Maybe only do the sides of the floormats you see the grey lines were it goes from the floormats to the side trim.
I was thinking for a taller guy like you doing all this work must be hell on your back and literally the next second you said "My back is tired". Haha. Great work man.
Your work looks great and is inspiring. I have a 2003 C32 that I have been working on for about a year and a half. The previous owner decided to put down dynamat in the interior. However, he put it down on top of the carpet instead of underneath. So, the rubber has melted into the carpet - I really don't think that I will be able to remove it from the OEM carpet. The leather is all in really good condition, but after seeing your video, I may dye mine the original gray. I have to take out the seats anyway to remove the headliner, which is sagging, and the carpet. I got a lot of good pointers from your video. My electric seats still work, but every now and then, they won't on the first try. I think lubricating, cleaning connections, etc. will go a long way towards correcting these problems. I do like your Sparco seats, though. Very tempting! I will follow with great interest. I am also considering bypassing the OEM stereo. It works under diagnostics on my scanner, but I think I need some type of code to enable it for normal use. I do have a good CD collection, so the changer would be nice to use.
