So how long did it take for them to fix your door? lol
You mentioned you could hear the noise from Grand Memories. Do you remember what block you were in? Apparently blocks A and B are away from Grand Memories noise.
Looking into going to this resort, despite some negative Tripadvisor reviews lol

They didn't fix it. Guessing it's still like that, haha. I was in Block D. It wasn't bad though from my room. You'll always find bad TripAdvisor reviews for any of these resorts.

Yup, sanctuary is adults only and you have access to the rest of the resort too. Have fun there!

Definitely depends on personal preferences. But personally, if I could have the beach from Santa Maria and the resort from Holguin, that would be my ideal resort.

It's the same resort. Sanctuary is the adults section and you get more perks.

I talked to the manager of sanctuary. Really nice guy. The resort is well managed from what I saw. I'd go in the fall or spring if I were you.
