Love it how you can transport the boardroom anywhere, even into a public toilet (or 'sanitation complex') and it seems to work just as well! Gotta love em! Wish they would make a few more one off Fry and Laurie specials again...
John must have driven around 50+ miles to Uttoxeter as the nearest part of the A47 is East of Leicester. However, there is a short, isolated stretch North-East out of Nuneaton, which is never particularly busy and is the wrong direction to Uttoxeter, he would have taken the A444 up to the A5.
I'm sure I've seen this at least a dozen times over the years but this is definitely the first time I've noticed how cosy those two urinals are. Nice and close, no splash guards. Just right for a bit of hand shandy action.

SNL writers, I believe, have a single brain to share among themselves, which I further believe uses every synapse thinking up bathroom humor most of us outgrew in seventh grade. Take, then, Fry and Laurie, who here make even bathroom humor intelligent (pun intended).
It doesn't make sense for Peter to expose who is running next doors operation considering how competitive John has always been and how he would definately react on finding out such information like that, seeing as it was always Marjorie who messed up all their previous business ventures, especially at the health club. I think John needs to distance himself from Peter and find a new business partner or maybe even go it alone because everytime Marjorie gets mentioned all his business sense goes to the wall. DAMN!
But John asked Peter to find out who was running next door. It wasn't information that Peter had previously declared. John clearly sees Peter as an equal business partner, as evidenced at 2:51.
Watching this video makes me want to visit Uttoxeter and go to their finest public amenity system.
