The second battle of The War Of 17 July 2022, was fought on 18 July 2022, between the cruisers Dragon and Almirante Cervera. The Royal Plywood Fleet, wanted to avenge the sinking of the cruiser Black Prince on any Latin Plywood Fleet ship that came into gun range.
At the start of the war, The Royal Plywood Fleet had the Battleship Dreadnought, the cruiser Dragon en the cruiser Danae available, with the incomplete cruiser Black Prince nearing completion. The Latin Plywood Fleet had the battleship Espana, the cruiser Almirante Cervera and the cruiser Principe Alfonso available.
