Just testing some homemade tools for @Lockjunkie Happy picking my friend #locksportenthusiast #locksport #lockpickingtools #homemadetools #leverlocks #padlocks #squire
@@The.fighting.lockpicker that's an interesting Idea. 1.5 or 1.6 mm is ideal thickness of that helps. Definitely let us know how it turns out if you try it 🤘🤜🤛👍🍻
@ thank you mate. So far the pick wires seem to work but as I’ve used a spare key for the lock for the tensioner is has a way to go. That’s the fun part playing around to see what works 👍
Very cool! I need to get you on a live so I can learn those locks you've sent me. I'm terrible at these types of locks. Great job and great demonstration. Thanks Nick!
@@LadyLocks sounds like a plan sometime my friend. Thanks for the kind words and watching. I must try and catch you on a live, it's been ages . All the best to you and yours Jen 🫶🤜🤛🙂
@Pik_lok definitely worth trying, they're great fun and certainly very testing when you start picking the ones with false gates lol. Email me if you like and thanks for checking it out mate 👍🤜🤛
Great 👍 Cool done ✔️ I'm trying to make tensioner for this one!!! But now I'm not have time for it...!!! Very interesting video for me. Thanks for sharing 👍. Good luck 👍 🤠 ☮️ 🌍 🌎 🌏
@@Tipa-fw2rz I was thinking of doing a video on how I do them. I will do one soon. If you want I can make you one and video it. Email me if interested my friend 🤜🤛👍😊
@Nicks-Picks Hi 👋🏻, NicksPicks!!!) Hi. Of course I will be glad if you can make such a video. It will be very useful and interesting. For me, definitely!!!) I support your idea, friend!!!! I am sure that not only me will find such a video useful!!!! 👍👍👍 Have a nice day!!! Good luck 👍 🤠 ☮️ 🌍 🌎 🌏 👍
Works great Nick. Literally "Tried and tested"! Have you tried not filling it all the way and cutting a groove along it instead? It really does hold the wire nice and steady. I'm sure Lock Junkie is gonna love the tools.
@@roysammons2445 no I haven't tried that yet Roy, it's on the cards at some point though when I get a bit better at the making side. That's only the second set I've made. I need to learn the silver soldering as well, these are quite rustic lol
Nicely done. I find the 440 needs a lot of tension, are these the same? I've got a 550 lost in the post at the moment so maybe I will get a 660 while I'm waiting, cheers 🍻
@@gprider1525 it's always tricky trying to describe tension but I'd say moderate but pulsing to light on occasion. Saying that it really does depend on the lock as well mate. I've two 669s which are pretty easy for me to pick now and another 660 which takes me longer than the other two out together 🤣
@@Nicks-Picks thanks, yeah I heard someone else mention the Squire locks in general need heavy tension so I guess I'll find out when I get something other than the 440s. Cheers 🍻
@gprider1525 Masterlock do a lever lock the same as the 440 and that does need much more tension. Worth a look. Both me and Roy Sammons have done Vids on it. One of the rare occasions Masterlock are better at something 🤔😁
Yaaaay❤🎉😊
nice mate, I've been thinking of repurposing my Sparrows thumbturn drivers to make lever pick wires

I have a very unorthodox way of opening 660's 😂
Lovely job on the tools 👍
@@CoxysPicks is that when you use a z bar, that's quite a nifty trick. And thanks very much 🙏🤜🤛🍻
@Nicks-Picks - the z bar is my friend 🤣
@@CoxysPicks 🤣I remember when you picked the belfry you use one to push the levers up as well 😂👌
@Nicks-Picks - sneaky trick right?
Heyyy🎉😊
Thanks homie 🙏 🙌🏻 They look perfect 👌 and perfect demo😊,can't wait to try them on my 660 💪💯✨️
