I hate how it was beliveable in SC and BW how the underdogs won their fights, through lying, decieving and manipulation, in sc2, everyone just always have a stupid ace up their sleeve, every mission, this mission just shows HOW they could have managed the WoL storyline, instead of a rag tag team being able to win against mengsk insanely much bigger armies by making his soldiers find out who mengsk really is. Making them grow while making mengsk weaker, THEN take him head on. Sigh, i miss old blizzard :(
In this mission the shortcut is fairly easy to find and other people have done similar runs. The hard part was to find and optimize the build order to save every second while also collecting all of the research! (and also routing the upgrades for the whole campaign so I can do this mission so late and have drop pods available)
Doesnt work for me. I hit two nukes even closer to the cc than you did and it left it with about 20-25% health, then all the units rush over and kill my spectres. Maybe it was patched ?
Did this just now - without any spectre update with 2 spectres and 3 nukes. As long as I didn't move closer to base (and other turret detectors) I nuked the command center without any problems.
I did it without them recently. One can. Create soldiers but no more supply. Use mines near to de base once. Go north. Kill scvs and then collect minerals. At the end you will end up with your base almost destroyed and most of the units lost (or probably all of them), but you will get another and better base
Holy crap! This is a literal case of "over before I even knew it"! Great run!
You are a SC-BW / SC2 master. Some of us CnC Fans are hoping for the TS / Firestorm Speed Runs, we know you will rock them outta the park! :)
Jim and Matt: we gotta pay Mira if we're gonna take down Orlan
Stu: nah we're good, we have nukes
Wow... You managed to do this so quickly!
Well done!
0:42 Confirmed. Jim is a caracter from star wars universe
Well Mira does have the death sentence in 12 systems...
gotta wait for your parents to stop admiring your uncle's vulture bike before you can leave
drop pods are a great unit
Cheaper, faster, less micro intensive and infinitely more durable than Hercules and Medevac
Spectres are the best WoL unit
indeed
Interesting. Here I am trying to do the marine medic usual deal, and getting destroyed.

And here I was wondering if Tech Reactor might be better for a 100% run. Why did I even bother thinking that?
Unbelievable. How do you find those amazing shortcut?

I guess not possible without mules
