Does it worth to wait 12 months for gls400d or pick up immediately a gls350d which is in the stock of the dealership? Is it a big difference between these two diesel engines?
I didn't drive with the 400d, only the 350d. If I wasn't in a hurry to order, I would probably go for a 400d in normal times. Eventhough the 350d had plenty of power, I wouldn't mind having a bit extra. I also had a quick look at the Mercedes site in Belgium, and here there are also only 350d's in stock, 400d you need to order. The question is, is it going to be 12 months or is it going to be longer. And are you missing certain options because of semi-conductor shortage. If so, then a 350d in stock does sound appealing. @@JohanDeHaes yes, thats the problem because even 12 months delivery time its not guaranteed!! I think i have to choose 350d because waiting for 400d, by the time i will pick up the car a face lift version will come out most likely. Anyway thank you for your opinion i find it very helpfull.
