The truck and missile launcher were made in the soviet union in the 1960's, from what I found it said it was rare, might want to check into that you might have a gem that should be left in the rough(original) What a haul of spare parts, you got some generous fans. Thanks for sharing Mike form Texas,Take Memories,Leave Footprints
Another great unboxing! There were a lot of models that i have never seen before too and I thought the military toys from Hungary were very interesting. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us.
Marty, GREAT unboxing video. You certainly do have a loyal following. YES, PLEASE do another live session. The last one was great fun ... make sure you do it like the last time with your wife on as well. Keep those videos coming and THANK YOU for sharing your talent and humor.
Hi Marty and Julie my wife and I really love your show as many viewers have commented it's very relaxing funny and entertaining. My wife and I went through some tough times last year and your show really helped us it gave us something to look forward to every weak. Thanks Marty and the team keep up the great work.👍🚗🚓🚕🛺🚙🚌🚐🚎🚑🚒🚚🚛🚜🚘🚖🚍🏍🚂
Hi Marty, What great additions in this unboxing. So many rare items that "I've not seen before". The Diesel Shunter you had in the box was available in Green, I know because I use to have one as a kid so keep your eye out for one. Hope Kevin enjoys his weed. See you next time.
Hello Marty. Was very surprised to be pinned to the map at the end 🙃 I posted that ,erm...many months, ago when seaside rock was still in fashion .lol . Had to go back and watch the end of the live chat but me and Emma hung in there until the last minute ,and it was well worth the wait to see you diss our ride after failing with the hidden staples 😂😂😂
Hi Marty, The Railton was a land speed record car and came as part of a set with the Bluebird, Thrust 11 and Spirit of America which you have in your cabinet, (just over your right shoulder). There was also a background poster with illustrations of all the Land Speed Record cars, and was brought out to celebrate Thrust SSC breaking the sound barrier and the speed record. I still have all mine in my spare room, somewhere.
nice haul,Marty. That big yellow Scammell truck, was only ever made in Orange. i have a number, all painted in Pickfords blue. The Yellow was probably meant to represent wimpey, who had a couple.
Marty's videos are just so watchable, they are nearly beyond critique. The yellow 1913 Mercer Raceabout was a fast and desirable U.S.A. built sport automobile . It won many races and was capable of 90-mph. Please don't paint the steerable Mustang black. Black hides subtle styling cues and makes small things look even smaller. Marty, you are a world-class Matchbox restorer.👍
Yes, live chat would be great. You do know that you played with matchbox cars when you were younger and you are "Still " playing with matchbox cars today . Keep the video coming.
Hello Marty ! The toys from Budapest are old 80's russian models. The one on 29:30 is ASU-57 - A soviet airborne light assault/antitank gun. My best regards.
Thanks Marty, as a reference my house is about 2 miles from Heathrow Airport. The patch I had made but was unable to get a white patch with red writing, I'm sory. Most of those models I found in two charity shops including the locomotives , the Yesteryear models , the Zodiac and the Kigsize models the rest were Ebay. The charity shop finds show you what treasures are lurking out there. Coincidentally, following my opening in the letter about preparing that package as you were unwrapping an earlier one of mine, when you relaesed this video I was in China so closer to you than I am normally.
Colin thank you so much for your fantastic package and also for taking the time to leave this informative comment. Without people such as yourself, I would be out of buisness!
Fantastic as usual Marty. What a haul of spare parts and the music on the CD sounds great too. Christmas lasts all year long every time you do an unboxing video.
Hello Marty from Plainwell Michigan USA If your videos were 2 hours long I wouldn't have any problem sitting through the whole video. Love the video's, keep up the good work.
33:33 this is my favourite models of matchbox superfast series . Beautiful shape and Good looking casting , color and wheels. Very very excellent models.
Well.... So Christmas comes around again in January. Anyway, when I see all these packages, it looks like Christmas. Nice unboxing video. Thanks for sharing and best regards to You, Julie, the team behind the scenes and of course 🐨 KEVIN.🇦🇺👍🏼😁
Hi, Marty! The (American) Mercer Motor Car Company built two basic models: The Mercer Runabout, for normal everyday use, and the Type 35R Raceabout, a stripped down model intended for racing. (the US Air Force Thunderbirds fly F-16 Vipers, and the US Navy Blue Angels fly F/A-18 Hornets).
Hi Marty. I am glad you liked the military toys that i sent you, now the smell comes from a box that i took from work that contained some really good quality natural soaps, i will try to send you some more and next time will include some for Julie. To be honest i was afraid customs wont have the same sense of humor as you and get a bit angry about the weed but i am glad it worked out well :D keep up the good work
The missile tractor unit has different trailers - there is also a tank transporter trailer. The Self Propelled Gun is an ASU-57. The barrel on it is snapped short on yours - it should have a suppressor and muzzle break. The overall length of the SPG from back to the end of the barrel is around 8cm. The series was apparently called "Military Toy". Keep up the good work!
Marty! Good to see another Unboxing Video! That Russian Prime Mover caught my eye. It looks like a model based on a Maz-537 series Transporter\Tractor. That will be fun to fix up should you do so. Thanks again, watch out for any weird Flus circulating from your Giant Neighbor up North. Regards!, Painless ( P.S. I had to add this quote from Bell Helmets Marketing back in the 80's ..."Got a ten dollar head? Wear a ten dollar helmet" ;o)
4:12 - I saw exactly the same thing at the flea market last week, I wanted to buy, but did not take it. There were also a couple of F1 car cars (Matchbox)
Loved the live chat, of course your fan base is world wide, so it will be hard to pick a time good for everyone, but if you give a heads up ahead of time that would be good.
That military truck on 30:00 looks like Soviet-made GAZ 66 to me, i drove one in army at early 2000's in here Finland, it had gasoline V8, that thing sounded great when working 😄 I think that missile truck is Soviet-made MAZ 535 or 537 🤔 But unfortunately i don't know about manufacturers of those Soviet-toys.
Currently the Blue Angels are flying F/A 18C Hornets (our friend’s daughter is married to a military pilot who is set on becoming a member of the Blue Angels). They have been flying various models Hornets for a while now.
A wonderful supply & spare parts unboxing. Strange to see a side car on the odd side. It must be how they are in England? I will chime in on the live chat to be held on a Saturday which would be a Sunday for you.
The Jaguar XK 140 is one I'm learning on. I don't have everything yet, but I'll get there. If you do a video on this, I'm sure to watch it, over and over!
Hey Marty. If you want to make your own plastic windows etc, get hold of one of the cheap vacuum forming machines. For example, the Mayku Formbox. It's small cheap and would be perfect to make the windows for the car carrier.
Well from the Netherlands, Sittard and de Vries, you can tell from your pronunciation. For me also a discovery, did not know that car models were made in the Netherlands. I am better known with Matchbox as a Dutchman. How nice that you are given so many parts. 36:10 That's not a volkswagen beetle, but a Volkswagen Transporter. The idea for the Typ 2 comes from the Dutch Volkswagen importer Ben Pon based in amersfoort the Netherlands. The Volkswagen Beetle was internally called Type 1.
I enjoy those videos a lot. watching you is like xmas at home, you're so excited. :) also, bad puns are best puns. the quirky thing with the Majorette Fiat127 is that the side windows don't roll down, they fold out. so the dog's owner either had an accident, or removed the glass. XD the fire engine is one of the few nondescript home-designed Majorettes, and got used in various shapes, usually as a pickup truck. "Impy" is one of the brands of Lone-Star of england; they did various scales from 1:80 (I think) to 1:64 and 1:45 (sometimes stated as 1:50 on the bottom). some where equipped with every door and lid opening, or steering wheels. I wonder if there ever was an actual track for the Matchbox trains? I seem to remember a playmat with printed-on tracks.
The racing car is one of the land speed record series. The set came in a presentation box, I believe. Incidentally, I used to drive a 950 Fiesta too :)
Excellent unboxing! As for your showtime request for your next chat show, the most viewers would seem to be in Britain and the U.S., hours apart, and you, dear sir, are yet more hours apart in South West Australia! Someone, somewhere is going to lose sleep or have to get up early so it's Hobson's choice. (sp). I appreciate the fans who think you'll restore anything sent to you (and it's really your call), but my vote is to KEEP IT LESNEY, non-superfast. The King-size, Models of Yesteryear, and aircraft of any decade are fine, but NO superfast! I hope you do collect every 1-75 model made from 1953-1969. I'm vicariously collecting with you. Godspeed from Minnesota, U.S.A.
Hey Marty. Greetings from the UK. I was wondering if you recycle all that bubble wrap and some of the boxes? Good thing to do, if so. :) PS, I have no interest in Matchbox models, but love to see you resoring them. You have a great manner.
I have the desire to redo some of my childhood Tootsie and Matchbox cars and trucks. But don't have a vise or a place to put one nor almost anything else MMM uses. I don't even know how to tighten the rivet on my 8 wheel crane.
@18:30 Looking at the Austin, the Maseratis, and the Jaguar, we can see the fine engraving that went into those molds. Painted up right, as you do, and as he's done on his, those really are more than toys, they're models. @24:12 The government banned plastic shopping bags? We'll send you some. We have thousands of them. Grocery stores put collection bins at their entrances for shoppers to bring them back for recycling. @25:33 Don't koalas get a huge buzz from eucalyptus leaves? @46:50 Those polishing pads are really good. The Thunderbirds are US airforce, F16, the blue Angel's are US Navy F18. The Thunderbirds used to be the F4 phantoms at one time. They are both renowned for their acrobatics and for being the the last to perform at air shows throughout the USA. I've seen both in action. One year I was lucky enough to see both at the same show, along with the Canadian, British and Russian teams. One of the most memorable shows I ever saw.
Enjoyed the live chat. Viewers range from Europe to US looking at your pin map. 2000 GMT would be 1200 in California. Does that make about 0700 for Werribee about the best?
Twelfth commenter! You might need to keep your Christmas tree up for the unboxing videos, as it's just like a holiday with all the gifts you get from around the world! "He who dies with the most toys wins" - - but only if he has the original packaging.
Hi Martys matchbox makeovers it's me. Stephanie Nickles I wrote the letter but forgot to put in the letter love your channel and brings back many memories the cars I found in an old car boot sale bought the cars for just a few quid hope you liked the cars would love to see the Bond Bug restored and can't wait to see the landspeed record car In ya case by the way I'm In Worcester City in Worcestershire
Marty, could you put a potholder or folded towel under the microphone? Thanks! Was that sort of "bus" with RR wheels a "tram"? I've been wanting a tram model I could do up like Telegoons "Last Tram from Clapham Junction"! Have to dig out my crummy copy and start looking! I hope your lovely wife shared the chocolate! The livestream was just fine last time; but it would help if, like Townsends, you could get an email sent, say, a half hour or an hour ahead...
How does it feel to be so well loved? Keep up the unboxing videos Marty. Love your sense of humor.
Love the Led Zeppelin t-shirt!
Me too, I'm a huge fan of LedZep and Pink Floyd. 🎵🎶💥

The Tornado looks good. That red tow truck was one of my first Matchbox cars.
Railton Lido Special was a land speed record car. It's best run was 384 MPH. At one time, it held the record for a wheel driven vehicle.
Another great unboxing! There were a lot of models that i have never seen before too and I thought the military toys from Hungary were very interesting. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us.

Feels like Christmas when I watch you opening boxes of cars !

Fab unboxing again Marty' thank you, a piece of foam under the new mic will reduce most of the table noise'
I liked the video. I think the firetruck from the first package will make a good post apocalyptic truck.

That green truck looks like my car used to after a night on the booze!😅😅
Can you believe it? That "Railton Mobil Special" was the land speed world record holder way back in 1938!! That is OLD SCHOOL speed right there!
Hello Marty from Plainwell Michigan USA

Sweet an unboxing👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 giddy up😎
Marty is floating in outer space with his cool Zeppelen shirt luv the unboxing
Marty!!! Love your Channel
love your Led Zep T shirt; kind regards from Belgium :-)
The missile carrier truck. There's at least one abandoned in the Chernobyl exclusion zone.
A quick google search pinpoints it as a Soviet MAZ-537
I enjoyed the live chat. I can't tell you when to do it, just give us plenty of notice. Thank you.
You can get a headlamp scratch remover kit for cars which works well for removing scratches on clear plastic.

The camper is built on an extended Beetle chassis using the flat four engine and basically is a Beetle.
17:00 "Porsche Logo" on a Ferrari? :-)
Ha hahaha Kevin got some “weed”. LMAO

Hello Marty l enjoy your un boxing and restoration videos very much thanks for all the great work
Hayes is about 1/2" to the right just below Uxbridge-about 4 miles from my gaff.
I live more in Harlington almost in Cranford but I suppose Slough is close enough when you are on the other side of the world.
The racing car is one of the land speed record series. The set came in a presentation box, I believe. Incidentally, I used to drive a 950 Fiesta too :)
That selfpropelled gun...
The slit inside it looks like i would have been a springloaded gun to shoot matchsticks from matchboxes. :)
I had a real Bond Bug about 1978, great little car.
Another great unboxing
Marty are you going to do a video on the updated collection and which ones you don’t currently own?
That Lledo one looks like the Auto Union Type C streamline
Excellent unboxing! Southeast Australia, sorry.
Marty I hope you and your and family's are ok Keep up the good work. GOD BLESS
Hi Marty,
Today I watched a really interesting video called "how model cars are made (1962) British Pathé"
Really interesting and nostalgic.
Hi Marty, the land speed cars I think we're available with petrol in the UK. I have some my mum brought out here (WA) in the 90's.
Thanks for the info
Looking forward to the army job. You should include the vw camper van in the army to.
" ..it's gonna be sweet listening to my voice.." ....oh lord 🤦
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Great t-shirt
Fun show Marty!
I hear Ford have a new car called "The Pubic" , it's made from old Corsairs 😂
28:26 That's called a "Big Missile" truck. You're welcome.
The Berlinetta car is amazing.
Thank you!
Ah that matchbox super car came with a little red motorbike. I used to have one!
Nice mic and shirt.
I use them when filling seams on a scale model.
@47:04 The Thunderbirds are our Air Force's aerobatics squadron, "Air Demonstration Squadron" The Blue Angels are the Navy's aerobatics squadron.
Love the T-Shirt mate

Mines bigger than this.... Haha
I dropped my phone laughing...
Hahaha
My suburban is the 7.5L motor. Pass everything but a gas station.... hahaha
Also the comment about a big one, do you think that it's not often Marty handles a big one?

Hi Martys matchbox makeovers it's me. Stephanie Nickles I wrote the letter but forgot to put in the letter love your channel and brings back many memories the cars I found in an old car boot sale bought the cars for just a few quid hope you liked the cars would love to see the Bond Bug restored and can't wait to see the landspeed record car In ya case by the way I'm In Worcester City in Worcestershire
I really hope you can restore those Soviet military vehicles one day! They look so amazing!
The missile mover is the MAZ-537.. the truck I believe is supposed to be the GAZ-66.. and the amphibious armored car is the BRDM-1.
Kevin's weed is hilarious!
I like a clear backlog.
Entertaining as always Marty 👍, Yeah love to have a live chat session , l missed it last time
Marty could you find and restore a humber super snipe? My family had them back when I was a kid in the 60's and I still love them.
When fans send you supplies, you're probably doing something right. 😉
Nice t-shirt
Marty's a led head?! I knew we were soulmates!! 😂
Like your shirt Marty, nice unboxing again. B.t.w. The name of Mr de Vries you pronounce better as The Freeze, sounds a lot better ;-)
That model Rocket and Launcher were made in the USSR at the time. They were made between 1954 and 1991. It is the S-400 Triumph.
