The one type of pliers I could use the most that I don't yet have for some reason is a pair of little electronics needle nose pliers like those Xcelites. I'm pretty sure those are actually rebranded Xuron pliers, model 485 I think. I am going to have to stop dragging my heels and order a pair. Ideally I'd like something without a spring, if there's a US made option but for the price if the Xuron's I could remove the spring.
Those little guys come in handy for me all the time. They are awesome. I usually don’t like springs either but those ones the spring is nice for some reason.
another great video bud....keep em coming! I luv the 2000 klein series stuff too. gotta get me a pair of them snap on 8" needle nose. looking to put them up vs my kleins to see what I think. listening to you hype the snap on needle nose is making me drool
well said bud...i love my Kleins and were my favorite for the longest time but ive come to really love my knipex twin grip, the knipex mini bolt cutters and the 180 cobras...i own that same pair of double jointed crescent and luv em but i can never find a good pocket to put em in my bag, jus a bit long but work great...keep up the good work 👍👍👍
Thanks Charles! I almost put the twin grips on the list too. They are awesome. And yea, the long crescents are annoying in a tool bag. I had the same problem until I got this latest CLC bag that finally has a good place for them.
Pistol grip compound needle nose are more ergonomic in my experience We know your not a cobra fan but each to their own. I abuse my flush cutters. I got the Icon ones. After breaking the tip and them being out of stock for a while I got a 2nd pair so I will have fresh pair but I pull and cut finish nails with them. When you pull that piece of trim that someone put 100 staples and nails in and you clip them flush in a minute and don’t have to touch up when done. Worth every penny
I’ve thought about getting some of those flush cuts before. I can’t decide if I want to get the icon ones or just pony up double the money for the snap ons 😂
I just picked up a pair of crescent flush cutters and mini needle nose and the needle nose look identical to those first ones you showed (I'm going to feature them in my first video)
For some reason RUclips held this comment and I didn’t see it until now. That was a good video dude. I’ve got a flush cutter video coming soon. I just got some really nice ones.
@@realworldtoolreviews lol all good. Looking forward to the video (I almost bought a $5 pair at Walmart just to compare, funny how when you buy a new tool you start noticing other similar ones)
I feel the exact same about those Klein Lineman pliers. I’m an electrician and actually carry a spare Milwaukee lineman’s pliers in my pouch to lend out when someone needs because if they jack up my Kleins ima fly off the handle for sure. Do you have any decoy tools that you use instead of the good/irreplaceable tools?
I really like the 10" Cobras. I find myself using my China no name 90-degree-ish needle nose pliers more than any other. Comfortable grips and no hard feelings if I break em.
Those Crescent X2s are also handy for the stupid lint trap and exhaust design of older Whirlpool Duets to get all the crud out of the bottom. If those XCelite ever give up on you and you can't find any more, I know you love your MIUSA so I'll toss Xuron out there. One of those brands people never hear about unless they're in specific trades or hobbies but they have a bunch of sifferent kinds of precision pliers like those.
Mini Vise Grips and Knipex TwinGrips are my favorites.
Both of those are excellent. I love my twin grips too. They were close to making the list.
The pliers that open beer bottles, those are my favorite 🍺
Me too bud. Only N/A ones for me though 😂😂
@@realworldtoolreviews that's cool, 👍like all your videos. Do you watch Perkins Builder Brothers and Ray Jay?
Good stuff, stay dry there in NC
Thanks bud!

Great video! I’d like to see a video of your shop setup!
That’s definitely on the list. Stay tuned! Thanks man!

I like the mini duck bills you made i got surprised by a set of duck bill doyles i got recently at HF they're really nice
The Doyle pliers are pretty good. Channel lock still makes good ones also. I love duck bill pliers. I’m gonna get me some snap on ones next

I definitely have loaner tools that I keep in the truck to let people borrow. That’s a good idea for a video!

I love a good bent nose plier 👍
@@realworldtoolreviews Excited to see the content from the remodel of your mom's fixer upper house. I know those will be good ones.
Often, If I don't need to cut something but need pliers, my duckbills are the first one I grab
Me too. Duck bills are super handy. Once I got a pair, I couldn’t imagine not having them.

I’ve never heard of Xuron. I’ll have to check it out. I love precision pliers.
