Just started playing EDF 4.1 again, and as a fencer main this was super helpful as this was my only problem and the best thing isI already run dual javelin (I like to see the skies filled with blades)
You don’t need the dash cancelling in edf 5 because they replaced it with something faster and better with the dash and booster support. Fencer in 4.1 look so slow in comparison.
Agree, Ranger in edf 5 can run and have much better shotgun Fencer also able to attack while dashing much more freely and stronger. They also didnt struggle much in city terrain unlike edf 4.1, i frequently got stuck in rubble.

You cannot even dash cancel in 5
How long does it take to get these weapons?
Play hard difficult to get better weapons.. But if don't have javelin, you can combine melee weapon with shield
