Have people actually said you never finish anything and your place is like a car yard ??? WOW It's your business what you do not anyone else's , some people need to either enjoy the top quality work you do or go watch another channel . I have watched you two / four LOL for years you have worked your butts off and so far have your own home plus a spare well done I say . We all know Doug is a work-a-holic but it's quality work and certainly no ones right to complain - just watch the channel and enjoy it . I think its great when I get time to sit and watch all that they do .
I thought he/they were responding to an unfortunate accident, by buying what they planned as a solution. Sadly, the solution needs work. Once done it will provide improved needs for material storage and a work/hobby space. So an improved quality of life, and possible what most people would wish for.
I have been viewing your channel since Indiana. If people will wait and see how both of you decide on the order of every job and finish them, I have witnessed the conclusion of work and I can assure every viewer you won't be disappointed how it ends. Enjoyable as always. Thank you Doug and Evee for all the hard work you put in while raising a family. Keep up the good work.
You know how some people are always complaining you have too many projects going on? From my point of view, it means loads more videos to watch. I love the prospect of seeing more of your brilliant work, and every little area you complete is, to me, a finished project ❤
Good luck, you guys. I know you can do it. This is nothing new to you. I love the way I’ve watched you over the years get better & better at what you do!😊❤
I know you were just itching to get into that. Seriously, you are blessed to have a good woman to stick with you through all you do and have done. Praise God. You know have an opening to the hidden underground bunker.
I see many people keep asking you questions on why you are doing different projects rather than the main house and then the trailer and then whatever. I feel for you. I understand what you are doing and hopefully there are others as well. Glad to see there isn't extensive rot to replace.
A lot of people have short attention spans and lack common sense. So they have a hard time following a story or understanding how life works. It blows our mind some of the things people say.
I am always impressed by the good work you two do. Eevee, especially because she so often is working way above her size and strength. I know Doug gets frustrated when people don't understand why they work on multiple projects at a time. Since COVID, I've run my business (electrician with apprentices and two journeymen) and one of my brother's back office (service plumber) and I totally grasp why Doug and Eevee have multiple things running at the same time. It's how things get done in the real world.
Great demo work. You two got it done pretty fast. I love all your videos. They are informative and you usually teach this older woman a thing or two. Especially on products that make that job easier. Thank you for the hard work. Bye Eevee.
Doug and Evee please don’t let people define you. Don’t let other people take away your joy. And you don’t owe anyone an explanation for jumping to one job then to another. Don’t apologize just ignore the haters. That’s life sometimes. I really enjoy watching all your videos. Keep smiling. 😊😊
I honestly don't understand why we would need to explain. When we finish one thing we move to another. Or when events arise we meet to face them. It's simple. But some people are simple.
I get tired just watching you. One day perhaps you could do a video of the essential tools for mobile home repairs. That would help me so much and im sure a lot of others too. Much love to the family ❤
Going to be another great project when done. Really a great place for Ashley to do her crafts. Lots of storage too.! God Bless. Love, Granny. HI Kiddos!
Doug, I was so glad to see you wearing the respirator for this job. I am always amazed at the places little critters find to nest. As always be well, be blessed❤
That was good progress! Now you know exactly how much rot there was and it’s not too bad, floor and insulation seems to be the worst of it. One step at a time. 👍💕
This was great to see. I have the same ceiling lamenant and floors. Now i know what to expect when i have to gut both Bathrooms. this made it so much less terrifying. Thank you.
After your experience with your second property-you know exactly how to handle this building. I have no doubt it will become a wonderful space for the family.
You two have such a vision when it comes to an opportunity. The new trailer/storage facility is fraught with impediments and yet you can see what’s beyond the obvious repair needs!! I admire that!! I’m really proud of you two!!
Hi Doug Eeveve, Bell and Maverick. Great job today. I know this will be a great storage shed for your tools and supplies when you get it done. I say if Doug and Eeveve start a project it will be done to profection. I am excited to see Eeveve get her area to do somethings she has wanted to do so now she will have the area to work in. Doug you are a great husband and father you do so much for your family. 🙏🙏♥️ Eeveve I can't wait to see what you share with us. I believe you are a very talented woman so I am looking forward to this. Maybe you will give us a hint of somethings you will share with us someday. Have a blessed week. I can't wait to see you all in the next video. 🙏♥️🌴
I could see the ants very clearly. . . This little baby trailer that I'm going to refer to as Junior,-- looks like it won't take too long to repair. 🙂 That's good! See you in the next video! You guys take care! Bye! 👋 Hi kids! 👋 Bye kids! 👋 Have fun!
This is in left field but I think that you look very much like a person named Carlo Rimbotti. He lived in the mid 16th century and was painted by Francesco Salviati in about 1548. Check it out.
I know this whole project was unexpected & sorry about the damage to your old workshop; but you never fail to amaze me with what you take on. It seems you are close to being finished with both your house & the investment trailer. Looking forward to seeing that. Now this & then the actual workshop you've been wanting to do all along.
being in florida where it dont get really cold, you may not need insulation in the floors since its not going to be living space, and being used during the day, and could be put in later after you see if you really need it or not, but as always its your choice/decision
We have a home on the Atlantic coast in Florida and the since Doug and Evee's structures are elevated ( provides air flow) , it makes sense to consider some type of insulation. We do have chilly and hot (heat rises) temps during seasons. Either way, their structures will be comfortable.
I have a friend who got really sick for over a year….when they discovered and remediated the mold in their ducts and HVAC, she was like a new person after just a couple of days!!!
Oh gosh well at least the underwood was not rotted and now you can get the floor insulated and then get the top all fixed and installed. You always do some great work, have a great rest of your day, sending love and hugs, bye!! 🥰😍💕💜💜💜💜💜💜
Because they need storage and work space now! We all see what happened to his work shop trailer last week. He needs to get that mold and rot out now before they drag everything in and use as shop.
@diyfferent Black mold is so bad, thank you for putting your mask. Evey shouldn't be in there with out a mask either. I've worked all kinds of jobs that in the end of demolition there was Black mold. I always had to have asst. Masks to meet OSA specs.
Agree totally,it’s called priorities, but some people just can’t seem to understand that because they are of low mentality and probably did not do well at school, just saying from north of Newcastle, your doing a great job the two of you🇬🇧🔨🔨🔧🛠️🧹🪚

I would use a Borax mix on that exposed wood - mix with hot water and spray bottle. It’s natural and protects from future ant issues.
