Two very different styles for sure. Next to Nina Simone's version, I like Angelina's and Gabriel's as well. Buble is, like you said, bringing back the crooners and has a niche. Angelina is one of the voices of this generation. She shines!

I haven’t heard and known it was Michael Buble. That was rather good and apparently quite the showman. Then Angelina comes next very good too. Enjoyed both these. Nice tight musicians playing behind them both. I’m trying to figure out though why these make me think of a James Bond movie.

I got the impression Buble was lip-sync. His volume did not seem to change regardless where the mic was located, and sometimes it was quite far and not in front of his face.

The guy on Grand is David Foster - a multiple Grammy award-winning record producer, composer, songwriter, arranger and record executive who produced Bublé's albums, two of which won a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
As for Angelina, she has already proven that she can work very well with orchestras (her first album was with a large wind orchestra), but she is often even better with minimal accompaniment or a small jazz band - here in The International Theater at Westgate resort, Las Vegas (1,578 seats) there were seven musicians in her band, more than usual.

Angelina is very talented and I believe she is phenomenal regardless of her age and experiences. Like any other musicians it will be interesting to watch her grow!

@@Anothercoverlover62 Since I'm not retired yet, I work during the week and don't have much time for YT videos, but I do check more often to see if there's anything new about Angelina Jordan, Amira or Lucy Thomas. It could be that we haven't written to each other for a while because you were focusing on other artists.
By the way, I like your new, non-confrontational way of comparing much better than the previous one with focus on competition. Sorry to hear the headbanger is limiting your memory so much. I hope that will improve with time.

Couple of things to say, Michael has a full high tech video (TV quality) and Angelina has fan phone footage, albeit very well edited. Second I would guess Michael is probably using some form of voice enhancement (auto tune perhaps) and Angelina has some nice reverb and that's about it. Not really like for like but that's ok, probably the best your going to be able to do as most of Angelina's recent work is some form of fan footage, be it from Grandma Mery or others. I felt like Buble was lip-sync, because the volume of his voice did not change when the mic moved away from his face; so, a studio recording.
Difference in style/approach, I think this is showman vs artist.

@@Anothercoverlover62 I don’t recall saying there was a winner or that either was better. I defined two different approaches, which is what you claim you are seeking. If you don’t want to receive a comparison (vs completion) between the two, then realistically you should probably not show both.

I’ve done two videos for over a year and half and I think I did start out as a competition
But I realized that when artist get to this level they can interpret any way they like. Not good or bad just different. Again not accusing you of calling either good or bad. Thanks for watching!
That's actually not a small club where Angelina performed this, but the International Theater at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas, which is the stage where Elvis had his residency, and which was the biggest stage in town at that time.
I have to say I prefer Buble's studio recording/music video to this live performance, which for my taste had to much speaking in it. I always thought that Angelina's version was inspired by Buble's cover, except of course for her crescendo at the end.
Here, she unfortunately did not work the microphone well, I guess she was not familiar with its characteristic and didn't catch that during stage rehearsal. There's a version on BigAngieFan's channel where he fixed that quite nicely in post.
I don't know which other version of her younger years you've seen from her, but I like the one from The Stream Gir Tilbake best, from live TV. Listen to that if your haven't done so yet.

While the music video has a Bond feel and references, I don't think it was actually used in the movie. There are edits with movie trailers and movie intros that were done by fans, though.

Feeling good has been around much longer than Michael Buble it has been covered by many artists ,it's not her mic technic she's a master, the audio at Angelina's concert is from fans cell phones that can't pick up all the sounds, proper recording wasn't allowed so we have to put up with that , Angelina has sung this song since she was very young for me this will always be her song.

Angelina's mic technique is usually impeccable, but in this performance she made a couple of mistakes with the mic too far from her mouth. Buble lacks emotion, and he is too much style over substance, the one you should compare Angelina to is Nina Simone. I have to be honest, this is the first time I’ve heard Buble, and I fast forwarded through because I couldn’t take it, it was not a good performance, I don’t know what Buble fans find interesting!
