I work as a tech. Possibly you can try creating an iPhone 12 template with a laser cutout of the wireless charging portion just over the space where the magnets are. 1 problem with this method is that you cant align the red guide laser with the magnets 100% from the outside. Possible solution is getting a magnet ring from an iPhone 12 and keeping it as a guiding magnet to see where the magnet is on the outside then align with red guide light. Then in theory the magnets would protect the wireless charging portion and only separate the magnets from the back. (Fingers crossed) Issue 2 with this method comes with reassembly, you can’t align the magnet on the back glass. Possible solution, keeping an iPhone 12 frame using it as a guide, using the frame as a guide mark the inside of the back glass where the magnets would fit by aligning the back glass on the frame. Once marked glue magnets to back glass and proceed with reassembly. There maybe other issues with this but perhaps this method would be a work around to a full phone disassembly for replacing back glass.
Apple tries to make iphone 12 third party repair harder The guy i repaired my old phone at: Umm i will rather break your iphone 12 than repairing it... REWA: This is a job for me!
I think you can use a strong magnet to make magnet array’s reassemble easier as it hold them in place + makes them adhere to glue better Something like a magnetized mat
You guys mentioned really casually that a new part of the repair is taking off the wireless charger. So that brings the time of the repair back to where it was before when you had to swap all the components into a new frame. Am I missing something here or did apple just make the rewa laser useless for the iPhone 12? If part of the process now is removing everything from the frame so you don’t damage the wireless charging coil then you might as well just put all the components in a new frame right????
Great video Rewa.. I was waiting for this topic. It had crossed my mind already about the difficulty increasing on the iPhone 12. I was just about to invest in a laser machine but I thought I'd wait to see what came of the magsafe backglass repairs.. My initial thought is if the magnets come away easily when removing the back glass then it may be possible to avoid having to open the phone and remove alot of components including the wireless charger by utilizing some kind of magnet alignment jig or even a spare metal housing allowing correct placement of magnets on the glass away from the phone prior to installation or better still replacement backglass with new preinstalled magnets could help reduce the amount of fiddling significantly.?
The magsafe can stay in place without disassembly. I have succeeded removing the back glass without removing or damaging the magsafe and keep safe the wireless charger.
Hi, can you make video how to stop dust storing in rear camera of Iphone XS ? I can clean it but after few weeks there is again some dust. Thank you gentleman
No one is going to repair it with this method considering the labour and cost for technician. I have one question, why weren't you able to remove the magnet without removing the charging coil? It seems that it's glue to the coil, why couldn't you heat and remove glue with a tool?
I don't get the point why the suppliers not adding the magnets to back glass ? those steps are so risky and possibly you can damage > battery, faceID, charging port flex, motherboard , volume flex, rear cameras or charging coil... so 2 choices forget the magnet glue the glass or add brand new magnets don't deal with components and most importantly < TIME >
7:49 the magsafe function is NOT NORMAL. The wireless chargeng function is NORMAL. But not that magsafe nfc function. You can see there is no animation show when the magsafe attached.
Why didnt they just make stainless steel body buth with a circular plastic cutout for the wireless charging? That glass on the back is such a stupid idea, especially when it is not replaceable (unlike in lets say an iPhone 4S where u could take off 2 screws and change the panel right away)
Apple always trying to reinvent the wheel! Built in obsolescence forces the consumer to buy new! If it wasn't for Rewa and your resourcefulness to fix these these phones , the customer is forced to throw them into the trash-can and buy new! I give you guys 10 out of 10, Apple?, they can kiss my 🐴!
When the title wrote "almost failed", this wasn't a good sign for "Right to repair" Even with Hugh Jefferys, Louis rossmann, Zack (jerryrigeverything) have came across to this thing.
This video for third party repair people around the world to teach them how to repair iphone with REWA tools , regular people can't afford a laser machine , it's so expensive

In the future, many iPhone 12 will be found without magsafe and normal users will have no idea why. 😂 Great job Rewa 👍🏻
😂😂🤣
Rewa is really Best iPhone refurbisher in the world! 加油兄弟们!
REWA will certainly find out the exact solution soon till then, This is the best video on RUclips. I trust REWA.
What a shock, apple is making repairs harder...
Yet they are taking away the charger to help “save” the planet while making their products un repairable, therefore trash. 🤡
I know only rewa technology will do this tough repairs
Thumsup for that!
Thank you Sir. It's very kind of you to say so. We will keep up our work.

Why not manufacture back glass with magnets preinstalled on the glass?
7:49 But the MagSafe animation doesn’t come up
It's because the charger is a third party one, since there isn't any NFC communication between the two saying "Hey, I'm a magsafe charger!".
@@Rayerpayer even it’s a third party one,the animation will also pop up.

What happened to the mag save animation you’re supposed to see when it connects to the Mac charger charger?
Was wondering the same. Broken?
That was a 3rd party charger, so the animation didn’t show
Why can't we use the laser over the wireless coil and magnets?
The magsafe can stay in place without disassembly. I have succeeded removing the back glass without removing or damaging the magsafe and keep safe the wireless charger.
*Almost Failed*
Don’t worry! Just Try again! Great job
Congratulations, you are the top repairer! ⬆️💯⬆️

Can add magsafe magnet for iphone 11 or 11pro??

Apple is notoriously crazy for permanently gluing the back glass to the frame
Thank you for the videos.
is not tempered glass?
Basically RIP to all repair shops
Nice work😍
You're fantastic!
What happens if the magnets are put back?
Great work
Phone doctor I think the channel is , they done it without disassembling the iPhone 12 and with the laser
People already broke their new iphone 12
Rewa already got replacement backglass.
Great work ^^

Won’t it be quicker just replace the whole Assembly
REWA : creates cool iPhone repair machines that cost lots of money
Also REWA : no one wants to talk in the videos use an AI ;-)
Because they are Chinese with Mandarin native tongue and not so fluent in English, so making the global audience understand will be harder! Hence AI.
Man I want to get an iPhone 12 but these videos are making me really think hard. I want a change from android :(
It's a pity that tech seems to be getting less easy to fix
if i had an iphone 12 i would be scared
dont have back glass, use back clear plastic (perspex).
No one done ..yo did it
