To be honest between the v3 and the v4, it's best to wait until they've sorted out all the bugs like they did with the v3 Plus the v3 pioneer is even cheaper now.
Yeah it might be kinda risky given how there were bugs with the V3, but idk if the later batch of V3 really had much better quality control...I got my V3 relatively late (like mid-late 2023) and it still had quality issues. So far I haven't seen any posts or videos about V4 breaking, I hope that's a good sign. The subtle cracks I found on the magnet caps are kinda sus tho...I wish myself good luck
For sure! I think it's quite a good idea to compere V10 and V4 because they feel so distinct. I'm definitely gonna make a comparison video on it, but I'm gonna briefly list out some differences now cuz the video will come after a few after videos. Turning: V10 has stronger magnets, each turn will snap in place, so it's easier to maintain a rigid cube shape during turns, but it also makes the cube more blocky. V4 is more buttery and smooth (after breaking in, out of the box there is so much friction), but its magnets are weak (although the ballcore is stronger than Tornado V3 imo). Adjustment system: Both have good adjustment systems, especially V4 which has an upgrade over V3(only 8 corner adjustments needed instead of 24). I think V4 wins this round over V10, because the axis distance of V10 at the loosest setting is already pretty tight, so there aren't that many good adjustment settings.
