An Ode to the Florida Gecko

I moved to Florida 6 years ago and had never seen a gecko aka lizard before that. Literally scurrying everywhere, I soon realized I had a huge phobia of the little creatures. Worried they would get in the house, car, garage, you name it.
So, I decided to face my fears head on and make a gecko the star of my first children’s book. I call it ‘an ode to a gecko’ because if you can’t beat em’ … well, you know the rest.
I hope you enjoy this tender story of friendship and communication, as much as I enjoyed writing it.
