Got a Technics J33, was cleaned, new tonearm belt, Replaced original cartridge stylus & old grease removed & lubed off of eBay. Can program up to 8 tracks. Plays well. It is my secondary player, 1600 Mk2 is primary table

I got an SL-L1 a couple of weeks ago and I love it, the sound is excellent and it works just fine

Just saw your video and dug mine out. Mine has a third party stylus in it from ebay but sounds warm and easy on the ear. Works perfectly too.

I just picked up one of these, partly in response to your video. I am quite happy with it, but am a bit confused as to where it sits in the hierarchy of Techics linear tracking tables. The Technics database suggests, rather than being an early higher end unit, this was a 1985 budget model with a rrp of $160. There was an early 80s unit, the SL-DL1 which seems better specced, having a strobe for adjusting rpm etc. Having said that, mine works and sounds great so no complaints.
