Dearest got attacked by him, so technically dearest got corrupted and not resurgenced like resurgence bf Edit: the lore also says Dearest was *Taken Over*, so it doesn't mean that he got resurgenced, he just got possessed by evil spirit.

As for Resurgence, it is a timeline of Corruption Reimagined where, thanks to a warning from the Narrator, Spirit went all out on Glitch BF immediately, resulting in a victory. Unfortunately, Evil Pico showed up and shot the game console the fight took place in as well as the TV. This resulted in the death of both Evil BF and Spirit, forming a sludge of both of their remains. This sludge took over the corpse of BF, and thus the entity commonly known as Resurgence BF was born. These Resurgence beings are significantly more powerful than average due to the merging of Spirit and the Corruption, for example, Resurgence BF is nearly as powerful as the entire Dearest family combined. As the song called Resurgence is what started the trend, these versions of a character are referred to as a Resurgence varient, as well as due to a lack of an actual name.

Funny, unlike my bf sprites were I animated 3 key movements to make them smooth My Insane DD sprites only have 2 key moments However with all the shaking that he does, it creates an illusion of 3-4 key moments making it smooth, This was a complete accident lol
