My favourite liminal spaces are definitely the seemingly empty pools with support beams going on for miles. They are creepy but comforting. That's how this song feels to me-a little creepy, but overall really nice and familiar, like splashing around in the pool at the local community center. Also the Ode To Joy segment was cute.
Liminal spaces (and to a greater extent the backrooms & weird/dreamcore) have inspired me greatly, not so much for how they feel but how surreal they can get. Sure they can be creepy to some or comforting to others but for me it was always how surreal they appeared, even if it’s more subtle than one may think

I'm assuming they're talking about the same person who was mentioned in white (ruclips.net/video/aHvZAOJ4Dgo/видео.html ) ³ - The actual lyric is something closer to "let's celebrate our joy" but because Ode To Joy is playing I figured this made more sense ⁴ - Whenever I listen to this, I feel like the character is saying this really bittersweetly, like "the world doesn't need me" additionally I feel like I hear they say "な" at the end which makes me feel like she's asking us to agree with her ⁵ - This part isn't actually articulated in the song, but I think it's a note to the viewer that things get better and life goes on, tangentially related to white's subject.
"the sun shines in your sky" so what im getting from this is that the pov is of someone having a dream and not eternally stuck in the backrooms which would explain the alarm sounds at the end which are so real its scary. i hope other people have the dream so she has more people to talk to. probably gets boring over there.
