Strangely enough, cannibalism between mates is usually presented in media about monster girls as the female being overwhelmingly fond of their partner, when generally something closer to the opposite is true. His chances of survival are still far from guaranteed, however.
Actually, only a small fraction of the 2400+(!) mantis species engage in mate cannibalism! And in the species where this is the case, it happens a small minority of the time
Funny enough I learned about incidents of female mantises eating their mate way later. Growing up I always thought of spiders when it came to that act. Interesting stuff though for sure! :)

The 2 tricky parts of getting your hair cut is not dozing off from how relaxing it can feel and not moving when they trim the back of your neck. Also the reason some animals freeze when grabbed by the back of the neck is because their mother would pick them up by it when young. Examples include cats, dogs and opossums.
I find it quite funny when i think that a lot of people (including me) were deadly afraid of haircuts when being like under 5 years old or like that, but now look foward to it when the opporunity comes, such a relaxing time to enjoy

I really love every video you make Alichu it dosent matter how long the video is because there all good but I do prefer longer videos. Then shorter ones because most the time i cant fall asleep in like 15 mins or 10 mins so I have to watch more videos or find new ones but thats just my preference saying longer ones are better but just do what you want anyway caise id love the video anyway.

Wow no wonder there wasn’t a video in a while. You made a half an hour video. I think this is one of if not the longest videos apart form you non scripted videos. If I remember correctly I think you did a mantis roleplay already. And if I remember correctly she wasn’t as perfectly drawn as this, you really have evolved your craft form shading to overall better drawing skills. You made her all pink which really surprised me like cotton candy. The piercing red eyes are also a great touch. I would like to think this mantis girl decided to open up a barber shop when she saw the movie Edward scissor hands and though “I mean he’s basically me so if a guy with scissor hands can do this so can I”! Mantises are so strong, they can spear a humbling bird out of thin air. Alright! Got a new video, thank you as always. Welp didn’t know what to expect, never do with a lot of your unique scripts. This was a very relaxing video for sure but, D@MN IT!, I kept falling asleep! I started watching when views were at 1500 or there abouts and just finished. So, take aways, first holy SH!T that was very relaxing, thank you. Second, my head canon is as follows, praying mantis girls are bigger then men so girls gotta be 6’5” easy, tall, slender, strong girl, alright that’s cool. Next, probably has four arms two hands two claws or just very dexterous claws, not sure? Lastly, getting a very kind vibe from her but also coloring suggests maybe, Orchid Mantis? They remind me of the sounds that those "ear mics" do. You know, those mics that have like rubber ears to tell from which ear is the sound coming from. Yeah they exist, they are popular in "Asmr ear cleaning" videos lol because it feels like there's something inside if the artists are not careful, but you were careful enough here. Also the Mantis waifs here telling me to not be startled by the loud sound and me getting startled is my own fault cuz she warned me in advance :P Now, I am curious about the moment in which she apparently washed my hair. How?? Does she have mantis arms AND human arms? The sounds sounded like hands rubbing each other, covered in soap... or a toothbrush. Don't know how you did it but it worked! As for the world I’m building, the thought is monster girls living alongside humans.
