If you decide to start super here’s a Dragon ball super read/watch guide: read the manga and stop before chapter 5, then watch the movie dbz resurrection F. after that keep reading, then stop before chapter 43, then watch the dbs broly movie. After that just read the rest of the manga.

I think the reason why the Dragon Ball fandom overall does not mind the abrupt finale of the series is because we have never seen it as a finale. The fandom had always seen it as a sort of "you imagine what comes next" sort of finale, and there are TONS of fan mangas where people create their own continuations, some of them so iconic that have even inspired new official Dragon Ball material, and of course, the fandom always had the hope that the series was going to come back one day, and it did.
Not to mention the fact that Dragon Ball GT came only a year after the manga ended, which pretty much softened the "finality" of the last chapter even more

Great video!! I enjoyed it :) Will you ever read Dragon Ball Super? The story is done by Toriyama but the drawings are done by another mangaka (Toyotaro) who has a very similar style. If you ever read it, keep these two things in mind: - The first 13 chapters are a bit rushed, but from chapter 14 (the Black Arc) I think it starts to get very good. - The first chapters were made assuming that the public had already seen the movies "DBZ: Battle of Gods" and "DBZ: Resurrection F". So I recommend watching those two movies and then starting reading the manga from chapter 1. (what happens in those 2 movies is different from the manga, but it's a great way to understand the context of the first 4 or 5 chapters of the manga)

One thing you should know before starting Dragonball Super is that the Manga and Anime do things differently, they follow the same arcs but are executing them differently
Now you can watch Dragon Ball Daima, is anime only, and the current series, and last work that Akira Toriyama, and this history is after Buu saga, and before Super, but the series is only in episode 9 now, and will have more than 20 episodes
Finally, great video! Its always great to see people's blind reaction to dragon ball. Here's a fun fact in case you did not know: Dragon ball and dbz are basically just dragon ball, and the anime split the 2 and after the success of that in the us they decided to split the manga aswell in the us, you can even see the original volume numbers (for example in Z volume 1 you see goku having a 17, which was the original volume number)
if you love DB manga you will like some of the fan manga -DB New Hope(a krilin crazy story+side storys) -Dragon Ball Sai (Doujinshi) ( a vegeta what if) -Dragon Ball AF( a very famous and good story after the events of dbz) -dragon ball ex -DRAGON BALL KAME -Dragon Ball - DBVS just read the first 3 you will love it
Personally more of a Vegeta optimist as buddy needed some love, but yea… Toriyama has been pushing Gohan to be the strongest from volume 17(aka volume 1) even if the kid is a pacifist. Nice video.
