La Catedral - Andante Religioso - Agustín Barrios Mangoré

La Catedral by Agustin Barrios-Mangoré is one of my favourite multi-movement pieces for Classical Guitar. This is the second movement, the Andante Religious, from the three movement masterpiece composed by the great Paraguayan, who was perhaps the greatest guitarist composer who ever lived.
When I was studying for my music degree at university, I learned all three movements of the Cathedral so that I could include the work in one of my performance recitals. This second movement has some really interesting harmonies and is supposed to represent the experience of hearing the spiritual music during a church or cathedral service. I do hope you enjoy listening to it and let it touch your soul.
This piece was recorded recently at Rokit Studios in West London. The recording and video engineering was done by Mark Rose.
The guitar I used is a 2011 Filipe Conde FP14 NA CW, made in Madrid.
