Some asked too if I'd raise awareness or support a mental health charity, and I think I've figured out a way that is fun and gives me a personal touch as well as giving you an opportunity to donate, and see it be put to use! Well, you re-surfaced in a big way here 🥰 I live in LA in an area where we have quite a few mentally ill homeless. It is tragic in my view, but I understand them. The meds makes them feel worse, but then without any meds it’s not good either. Such a difficult situation. I am so happy that you are finding a way to give them a little joy, comfort. I don’t know how to do this in my situation right now but yearn to be able to help. ❤️ You’re back and I’m with you 🙏 ❤️

I'm an American living in Denmark and have a non verbal autistic adult son. He is taken care of by the state. I wish your family had just a tenth of what we get here for our son. I was really touched about your video about your brother and your devotion to him. You are a seriously nice person using your first hand experiences to spread goodness in ways you feel you can directly affect things. Like you said, the guy talked your ear off, but that's probably what he needed as much as or maybe more so than the food.
A wise, compassionate young man you are.

A great thing that you're doing Darrell 👍. Whenever I go into town or the city here in the UK, I try and help the homeless. I buy a few of them (wish I was financially able to buy more) a hot meal and a coffee. I mostly tend to take them into McD's especially in the cold winter months, so that they can at least get out of the cold whilst they eat their food. However, the staff at McD's are not happy about homeless people being inside and are all for asking them to leave. I always say to them to have some compassion for others that are less fortunate than themselves. They tell me that other customers don't like it and complain. I've even complained to the UK HQ about how a worldwide organisation views the homeless, but sadly it all falls on deaf ears.

It's very fulfilling to give. A bit of self in that I guess, and having been through it, it always used to softened my own self pity and anguish. To give. It heals you.
