the reason Marilyn looked so nervous/scared was cause right before this press conference Miller and Marilyn witnessed a car crash in which someone was killed. Hardly surprisingly neither were on point here.
im not sure but it would be awful to witness it, I believe Marilyn and Art, had to help those two victims in the car crash, I believe one of them injured 1 died. :/
Marilyn was so nervous during this interview bc her and Arthur had just witnessed a serious car accident that involved a papadazzi, apparently she was trying to take a photos of Marilyn and Arthur but drove too fast in a road curve and crushed into a tree, she flew off the car, Arthur went to a nearby house to ask for help and as witness tell, Marilyn was in total shock and stayed still in the car watching the situation. Later on she felt very guilty bc the woman died trying to take a picture or her, that’s why she’s so nervous and off.
Marilyn looks so beautiful here. More natural, less makeup and fuss with her hair, you can really see her beauty. She was so much more than what people thought. She was really a very good actress. I think playing the babysitter in a hotel and Bus Stop were two of her best dramatic films. Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend and How to Marry a Millionaire are the 2 best glamour/music/adorable.
It was her fake voice tbh. She had to put a facade. You can hear her original voice in many clips especially the one where she says she’s always miserable. I prefer her original voice. There’s so much pain and complexity in her voice. Overall a very interesting human being.
When she says “alright , Fine!” This shows she was a very confident Woman in how she felt and she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind . She wasn’t this little, delicate flower some people think she was ❤
Gorgeous footage and you can hear it properly! Marilyn looks so sweet yet nervous and anxious. I think they were both shocked by that car accident. Marilyn looks up to him and is so fragile. In the beginning shes asking Milton Greene something. Nice to see this footage in such good condition.
She tried hard to look happy... sometimes she looks confused, distracted and sad... even afraid. And then she remembered she could smile. I think she was stronger than everybody thought she was. She could have been much better but was deep into depression cause of her materialistic side wasn't compatible with her true self. She chose the easiest path.
Materialistic side? Marilyn had many problems, was a difficult girl, but one thing she wasn't was materialistic. Unfortunately, she was never concerned about money, and was overly generous to way too many.

I think right on this day (because of the fatal accident and her marriage to the selfish Arthur Miller, which would make her even unhappier) most of her joy was gone and an open wound would continue to grow inside her.
When I was around 8 or 9 in the late fifties, my family was out for a drive and we spotted Marilyn and Arthur coming out of a little store in Woodbury Ct. We followed them back to this house in Roxbury .
He was shit . Treated her cruelly but Marilyn lacked the self esteem to tell pricks she was involved with to go to hell. She hung on to him far too long when she should have ditched him after she discovered he wrote in his diary that she was an embarrassment to him in front of his friends and that she was a disappointment
He was horrible toward her. She was happy and vibrant as seen in The Seven year itch before the marriage but soon afterward, she was melancholy and sad from that time, (it seems he left his notebook open on a table for Marilyn to read stating he regret marrying her and she's a pitiful dependent waif who was stopping his creativity) as noticeable in Some like it hot and The Misfits. He also begin an affair with a crew member during the filming of The Misfits and she knew about it. He was very verbal abusive toward on the set. Soon afterward, like he did to his ex wife for Marilyn, he divorced her and married the woman in 1962. He also refused to go to Marilyn's funeral.
She was a beautiful soul, surrounded by people who wanted to use her for their own gain. Unfortunately, we all are born into different situations that don't always provide us with what we need. Interestingly people in my time could only comment on Marlyn's beautiful face but fail to pay attention to Miller's beautiful mind and value! It was not Arthur Miller stansing by Marlyn Monroe, it was the other way round by the values of their time unlike the superficial values of this period!
In the book The Untold story behind the murder of Pancho Villa by Julia Lonergan Rodriguez Marilyn Monroe's name was on the Charles Maxwell land grant. She was the grand daughter of Pancho Villa and Eleanor Roosevelt, who had Triplets one Leona Villa was Marilyn's mother her father who cheated on Felix Villa the movie star with her younger sister Leona Villa was Henry Howard Howe. Leona gave the baby to his father to raise, J.P. Taylor.

Everybody’s like, “She deserved better.” I’m just like, he cheated on Mary Slattery with her for years. I mean, I’m not hating anyone, though but they didn’t deserve each other
He cheated on Marylinn when she was destroying herself surrounded by grubbing shrinks and Kennedy users. She traded sex for love. sad. CIA operatives all around.
I don't put Marilyn on pedestal like most people here. They react with emotion, not with their brains... Marilyn did her share of mean things to others. She's no angel.
@@lepetitchat123 Just because a person is imperfect and flawed (as is every person on earth) does not mean they cannot be admired for their positive qualities.
@@jofinsky8400 I admire her for some things, I just don't put her on a pedestal. She is human after all. She was not a Saint and never claimed to be one.
he didn't cheat with her for "years". i dont put marilyn on a pedestal but the madonna-wh*re complex with her is so strong.
I am happy when she speaks with her sweet Real Voice !
She was clearly shaken after the accident.
I really enjoyed this
Interestingly people in my time could only comment on Marlyn's beautiful face but fail to pay attention to Miller's beautiful mind and value! It was not Arthur Miller stansing by Marlyn Monroe, it was the other way round by the values of their time unlike the superficial values of this period!
Qu elle était belle, si belle.
Taylor.
Im not sure if diana was a a fan but both died at 36 with tragic deaths and hated fame and Elton John dedicated candle in the wind. To both
her story and the story of Princess Diana are so similar
I grew up near Millers home in Roxbury,Ct and around 1960 , my father spotted the two coming out of a little store. We followed them back to his house which I can remember like it was yesterday even though I was around 9.
How old are you now?
Easy to tell She was upset, & they were starting to tick Her off. She kept it under control very well, considering.
Adrian Brody was excellent as Arthur in Blonde!!! 🙌
Ana wasn't a good Monroe tho.. she looked like her but she didn't sound like her and her acting, mannerisms didn't match at all
@@HazelEyes485 exactly
Miller is one of the men who have destroyed Marilyn !
True
I don't understand what she saw in these men, even the Kennedy's She was so much better than them all. And she was murdered by the Kennedy's for sure.
She had 2 very old and ugly men's
who’s miller and how did he destroy Marilyn???
Miller, the Kennedy and Joe Di Maggio!!!!
She is certainly not frail and anxious. That's a total act.
My God people are gullible
Interesting, they both didn't want to do the interview.
He didn’t deserve her bro 💔🥺
