If you compare our police officers with other nations, we should totally be grateful, because our police officers are our heroes and we can't live without them.

From me and friends/relatives who have driven in Calgary + Vancouver.
Calgary cops have too much time on their hands so they harass drivers for the most minor inconsequential reasons.
Vancouver cops have bigger priorities and generally leave drivers alone.

I've been pulled over for no reason all the time, I was respectful in the beginning, now I'm just tired of being inconvenienced and having my time wasted talking to someone I don't want to talk to, I can only imagine how many criminals got away while they were fucking with the wrong person, not hating just need to do their job and If your job leads you to me, a man with a clean background, obeys the law, then some changes need to happen

I was pulled over on a cell phone.
Police asked : you kno why I stopped you?
Me: ya you caught me
Police: why you doing it?
Me: cause its a hard habit to break
Police: your free to go
Me: thank you, I learned my lesson with out the ticket

I had an always serious brother that got pulled over with me in the passenger seat. "The officer asked him you know why I pulled you over?" Without missing a beat he says to the officer, "because you thought I had donuts". All three of us laughed like crazy. He let us go. I miss that guy. He and his girlfriend died in a roll over in the mountains of New Mexico in 1981.
Can they do something worthwhile....like catch a thief or rapist!!

Will you be registering your plates to your company as you said? That's the reason you get pulled over all of the time. When run by the police, your plates should report back to your company but yours don't.

I was stopped by a female, small town cop many years ago, just after I had picked up a crappy, old (literally) company truck and was asked if there was any alcohol in the vehicle. Seeing as I hadn't gone thru the truck yet, I figured why not let her tell me what she finds AND she perhaps learns a lesson by digging into every dirty and dusty crevice it had. I just smiled as I watched her do her best and come up empty and dirty. It made my day!

Two months ago they stopped me just to tell them that I followed them too close on crowchild 💀💀 I swear that was the most dumb thing just cos they were speeding actually and I was basically doing the same thing they were doing so they couldn’t catch me from the front!
Pulled my boyfriend about twice to ask him if he owns his car 💀😬 just cos he drives a stinger! I swear these cops are bored when and desperate to reach quotas!

What this tells me is the police computers are wrong who's ever doing your system needs to be fired because they're not doing their job

I like that for a change somebody showed respect to the police and you got it back,I subscribed ,btw incase somebody doesn't understand why she ran his plates in the first place,in canada cops are allowed to run plates at random without suspicion/probable cause this is often done to at red lights etc and it's mainly done find out if the car is stolen (usually they run plates from sports/exotic cars as they're commonly stolen and taken for joyride) ,if it has warrants out on the owner etc, many people with warrants were arrested this way aswell
