Well, that was my doing when I used it exclusively for sourdough. So I baked and baked and baked at 450 without cleaning it off. I can get it clean again with some elbow grease, but the state of it is my doing. Had I just washed it normally after each bake it would have been fine. Hope that makes sense:

I have to ask, if your Dutch oven from PC stains like that? I love PC everything(mostly), but that would bother me.
