The Chenab Rail Bridge is an Indian railway steel and concrete arch bridge between Bakkal and Kauri in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. When completed, the bridge will span the Chenab River at a height of 359 m (1,178 ft) above the river, making it the world's highest rail bridge. In November 2017 the base supports were declared completed allowing for the start of the construction of the main arch. In April 2021 the Chenab Rail Bridge's arch was completed and it is expected to open to rail traffic in December 2022.
The Chenab Bridge is an arch bridge under construction in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, which spans the Chenab River between Bakkal and Kauri, . When completed, the bridge will be 1,315 m (4,314 ft) long, with a 480 m (1,570 ft) trussed arch span, 359 m (1,178 ft) above the river Chenab and a 650 m (2,130 ft) long viaduct on the Kauri side. The Chenab Bridge will be the highest arch bridge in the world, and longest span for a BG rail line with arch span of 480 m (1,570 ft).
Chenab पुल की बात करें तो यह दुनिया का सबसे ऊंचा मेहराब वाला पुल है इसकी मेहराब का काम 5 अप्रैल 2021 को पूरा कर लिया गया यहां पर हम आपको बता दें कि यह पुल 1315 मीटर लंबाई का बनाया जाएगा यह पुल दुनिया का सबसे ऊंचा रेलवे पुल है जो नदी के तल से 359 मीटर ऊपर है इस ऊंचाई का अंदाजा आप इस बात पर लगा सकते हैं यह फ्रांस के एफिल टावर से 35 मीटर ज्यादा होता है इस पुल के निर्माण में 28660 मेट्रिक टन इस्पात का फेब्रिकेशन किया गया है इसमें इस्पात के मेहराब में अभी कंक्रीट भरी जाएगी जिससे इस मेहराब का कुल वजन 10619 मेट्रिक TON हो जाएगा

The welding work over the decks is for concreting, over the concrete bed there will be double lines with footpath on both sides.
