This video was incredibly powerful. It really touched on the harsh realities of discrimination and the importance of resilience and standing up for what’s right. The story was so compelling, showing the strength and courage it takes to fight against injustice. The father’s support for his daughter and the sense of community she finds through her friends is just inspiring. Thank you for sharing this impactful story
Mrs . Parker is not a good teacher, her teaching certificate should be taken away from Mrs . Parker and she should be arrested 😤 for assaulting Kayla who is a student at this public school 🏫 in Greenville. How outrageous no child deserves 😤 this abused at any school in the U.S.A. November 11th , 2024 .
"You're absolutely right, tuning in from BC Canada! It’s honestly shocking that racism still appears so intensely in spaces meant for learning and growth. What really hits hard is how Kayla’s story shines a light on just how much impact one teacher’s actions can have on a student’s life. It’s a reminder of how far we still have to go in making all classrooms safe and welcoming. How do you think things can start to change to make these environments truly inclusive? I’d love to hear your thoughts on what might make the biggest difference!"
This story is a powerful portrayal of resilience and the fight against systemic discrimination. 💪🏽✨ Kayla’s journey from humiliation to triumph, with her father’s unwavering support, is both heart-wrenching 💔 and inspiring. 🌟 The vivid moments of injustice and the eventual transformation of her school highlight the impact of courage and solidarity. 🫂✊🏽 A compelling and hopeful narrative that sparks meaningful conversations about inclusivity and justice. 🕊📚
*Watching Kayla’s journey and the support her father gave her is truly heartwarming. It’s a reminder of how important family support is when facing challenges. Her courage to keep going, even when it seemed impossible, is truly admirable.*
The discriminatory and humiliating actions against Kayla in the video are unacceptable, especially coming from a teacher, who should be protecting and nurturing students. This behavior not only breaks confidence but also causes deep, lasting harm. We must strongly condemn it and work together to create a fair learning environment where everyone is respected!
Tuning in from Ontario, Canada. The extent of racism in the U.S. is truly alarming. It’s devastating to witness the unjust treatment taking place in classrooms across America today.
I'm central California traveled towards the state of Tennessee way back when the walmart in Arkansas there are no Afrerican American in Clark's ville Tennessee the walmart had Aferican American sorry for being off topic .
Cutting the student's hair without permission and illegally was not assault or battery. It was child welfare endangerment and racial discrimination, as in an offense of a hate crime. Perhaps the student, Kayla was not assaulted physically by the [full-grown] teacher, but the student became mentally abused by the one who was supposed to be an authority image assigned to be in charge of dependent children.
Yeah ! Mrs Parker is guilty of child abuse and that's a criminal misconduct which is punishable by imprisonment for many years 🤔. Think about this folks 🤔.
This teacher must have been out of her mind having the audacity to put her hands on the students hair.... The teacher and principal should not be allowed in the educational realm Ever again!!!!!
This teacher have no business in such an environment of young lives.her licence for teaching should be revoked never to enter any form of education.this sort of bias is not needed.she is a butcher.
No teacher has the right to treat any child this way Kayla so very proud of you sweetheart 💓 🫂 You are so strong and brave darling Your bravery brought changes to your school Hold your head high sweetheart Sending ❤ 🫂 from Australia Everyone deserves RESPECT IN MY EYES KAYLA YOU ARE A HERO KAYLA God bless your beautiful soul darling ❤ ❤
This is absolutely unacceptable and deeply disrespectful! I'm glad the father stood up and brought this issue to the school board's attention. Hopefully, justice will be served, and such incidents never happen again
YES!!!! I agree! I would have stood up for her. I would have let her work with me and eat with me. And I would have help her out. I would have encouraged her to talk to her parents about the situation and I would have reported the teacher cutting her hair.
The teacher needs to get suspended and fired. She knew exactly what she was doing. She shouldn’t have put her hands on this child. I would have taken the teacher to court .
What a sad story shame could not help but she'd a tear Kayla you must never allowed it in the first place you should have confirmed with your parents good luck for the future ❤
She is too strong to hold out. I can imagine how she felt inside 😢. This is too bad like seriously. If I were her, I wouldn't have gone back to that school the second day but she didn't give up. Cutting her hair was uncalled for.
I'm so thankful for Kayla's dad helping her. The students had no right treating Kayla so cruel. Also, the teacher, Principal had no right in not helping Kayla. When I was in junior high school I had a horrible thing happened to me. My family moved from one subdivision to another one. It was just across the street and railroad tracks. I was going to check the mailbox at the old house. My friend's sister Sharon wanted to go with me. We went to the old house, my brother was behind the old house. He came out and scared Sharon and me. We turned to run back to our house. I grabbed Sharon's arm "you've got to look for traffic " I told her. We got to the other road and Sharon didn't look and got hit by a car. I screamed when the car hit her. Sharon's family and my classmates called me a killer. After awhile we moved from Godfrey to East Alton. With God's help I started doing better. I have days that I miss Sharon and her sister Kathy.
What an absolutely disgusting way to treat a child the head teacher isn’t much better making the students stay after school the teacher should be sacked and the principal should be demoted it’s disgusting the way the kids were treated if that was my child I would be absolutely bloody fuming and making sure that they knew how I felt
This is nothing but shear harassment and abuse.this child should not have to go through so much trauma she should protected and nurtured as a growing a young seedling.out this woman she can't be allowed to take out her bias and bitterness on this innocent child.
Butler Pennsylvania that teacher should have been arrested for assault, that poor sweet little girl had to listen 😢to all the horrible things the other students were saying about her. That child had so much nerve to even get up and go back to that horrible racist school the next morning.
This story shows one. human being change a dark soviety we live in it shows courage and integrity the school should be a place of safe environment not a not humiliate human being who wants to learn and improve herself hats of Kayla for keeping her dignity and shows shes better than anyone of them her courage dignity humility and perseverance overcome evil.Well done Kayla you are one of a kind perhaps welldo parker the same she dish out to Kayla
Ms.Parker had a he'll of nerve.I would have kick her a----- had that been my daughter. It was so wrong for Ms.Parker to cut that child's braids. It's a shame that there is still racism in this world. Lord have mercy on all of us!!!!😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Why would anyone hire a teacher with this kind of attitude I'm sure her attitude has shown before she should have never been a teacher she is to show bias and not difference she is to show this to the children and yet she's showing hatred this is all wrong she should have never been a teacher
I am a WHITE,WELSH,BRITISH and was born in MID WALES in 1944 at the early part of the WAR2,,I have never ever wanted to visit America well just wanted to touch the veitnam wall because I’d seen how you treated your troops when they returned home from that HELL!!.MY mother bought us up extremely well mannered,to put others before yourself to help those in need. I had never seen a black face except on TV or in my dad’s national geographic magazine, I also heard about the apartheid in Africa about the American civil war in grammar school.America didn’t step up to help our little island when London and many other cities were bombed in the BLITZ only when PEARL HARBOUR was bombed by the Japanese they saw 1% of what we were suffering over here with millions already killed burned alive in their homes. We had black troops over here also pilots I think they were shocked that they were treated like equal human beings and they were im told brilliant dancers.People watched in horror how white American soldiers treated the black ones your soldiers were flashing money as they were far better paid than ours also they could get nylon stockings very rare over here we were on rations until 1954 by then mum had 5 children . Grandma had died when I was 8 then grandpa when I was 13 they had lived with us in our 7 bedroom house next to the grammar school we all in turn later attended..I was the eldest of 4 girls + the youngest a brother.I used to watch the housewives programme for a while but the people seemed lacking in empathy or compassion but seemed addicted to material things and huge mansion like houses with huge rooms just for clothes/ shoes/ handbags/and drawers full of BLING jewels. It didn’t take long to see through the hypocrisy and little intelligence it seemed to me. I follow my grandmother dads mum I was born a sixth sense psychic and most of them had real problems they were just wearing a mask, A huge amount of churches + false pastors taking money from the poor to pray while they made the money pile larger in their bank balances, wearing Rolex watches,,THEN I saw the other side thousands of former 😂middle class ( gold diggers) now living in tents on the streets, people paying a fortune for minor *operations to us *so people were dying with no reason other than not being rich,So many homeless on the streets GOD help the poor + abused,OH I’m aware we have homeless over here many ex VETS suffering from PTSD like the USA, SO much awful corruption.pretend Christians they can’t be so stupid they don’t realise GOD can see through these soulless creatures, YES of course I know there are some good people over there but you’d rather go to WAR than like here spend the money on the homeless young people well all ages really, How many in our politicians are not uber wealthy aren’t they ashamed ..Ive said enough I’m aching now..pat mason, Colchester,England.UK
This teacher needs to be fired and Kala needs to stand up to those kids they are no better then her and she belongs in that school just like they do Kala needs to tell her parents
If this had been my child , I would have gone to police and pressed charges for assult!!!!
By law that is assault!.
I would have told my parents from day one that’s a lot of burden to carry for a child
That is tantamount to assault The parents should report her to the police
My high school schoolmates were United as one. No teacher could ever do that and get away with that.

Watching from Auburn, PA. This one broke my heart! Glad the principal and that teacher have been fired! Diversity, in all walks of life, is necessary.
I would have took my child back to school with a pair of scissors and gave them to my child and had her to cut the teachers hair Ragley

A new person has all eyes on them. Keeps on looking and praying , to be a-good student.
This teacher has no right to put her hands in the student head. If she was my child the teacher would be sorry for what she did.
You mean Ms. Parker would have been sorry one way or another. Otherwise, her family would be sorry.
I agree. I do not like it when people disrespect others. Treat them the way you want to be treated!
Cutting her hair was assault battery or both. CRIMINAL.
I woukd be in jail...
